It's weird to see Paul standing in front of military weapons.

Hailey you have to remove all the URLs and /URLs in order to create a clickable link so we can see easily what you're talking about. P.S. I thought it was just a plane, but is there a bomb on it? ops:

I think the way the plane is painted, flowers etc. I think there is even a peace symbol under the wing. I think it is probably meant as some sort of peace statement. It looks like a prop as part of the staging at a concert. I have never come across any other pictures or video featuring this plane. Does anyone know more about it ? Looks like late eighties by Paul's looks.

I thought it was from a live performance.

Yeh I do mean a prop at an actual live concert. Oobu - You posted picture do you know anymore about it ? Source ? Has anyone seen the concert. ? Is it from '89-'90 "The Paul McCartney World Tour" I was wondering is it an actual plane or a mock up or is it a photo being projected behind Paul (looks real enough) ???
-
I believe the painted plane was supposed to be used as a prop in the 1989-1990 tour (? during Back in the USSR?). One of my friends went to shows in Europe at the beginning of 1989-1990 tour and told me something way back then about this plane but that it didn't work. Sorry my recollections are sketchy but I wasn't told much about it, I just remember that there was something about a plane and it didn't work. This must be the plane. I have never seen a photo or heard anything else about it before seeing that photo.

I don't anything about the picture. But with Sophie's clue about Back in the USSR, I checked youbube & it is not in this video...but they may have dropped it if it didn't work as planned. He has a different outfit on in the picture. It looks familiar. Was that worn at a show? Paul McCartney - Back in the U S S R (Get Back World Tour 1989 - 1990)

I always have. Photobucket links especially have too much. I always cut out everything except the direct link to the image and turn the img tag into a url tag so it isn't moderated into gibberish. If you quote my post, it looks like this: <quote="HaileyMcComet"><quote="oobu24"><url>https://s32.postimg.org/olaplsmlx/image.jpg></url></quote> It's weird to see Paul standing in front of military weapons.</quote> What did you have to cut out to make a clickable link? There's nothing else there except the image link and whatever I said afterward.

Once again, I know your post looked different originally (BBCode was disabled) or else I wouldn't have changed it. (See Beatles Picture thread)
