Are those jelly babies on the stage? Still have that Beatle card, or 16 magazine about the jelly babies...anyway, I'm feeling about 11 looking at this photo... Screams...then faints....
Those are jelly beans, not babies which are much softer. George didn't realize that when he said in an interview that they liked jelly babies!
Poor Beatles - they were pelted with the darn things! P.S. I was exactly 3 months shy of being 9 years old when that photo was taken. I think I went through puberty early Feb. 7 - 23!
*THUD*
Not sure of your date there Nancy R? 1923? Didn't realize that the jelly babies were softer... I know what you mean, tho.... I think Paul put a lot of young girls into early puberty...
He definitely was the first male *THUD* in my young heart... He never grows old... Growing up in a Beatle world was incomparable, everything was the Beatles back then... Even that VOX Super Beatle Amp in that photo...Somewhere out there, is one of those amps with my name in it...My high school boyfriends most prized possession...and he wrote some loving note to me inside it... The Beatles inspired him and his friends to be musicians. Wonder how many musicians worldwide have been so inspired by Paul and the other Beatles, to have such a lifetime love of music. Must be millions and millions... It's so awesome, isn't it? How about the incredible shift that took place in music, when albums like Sgt. Pepper's and the White Album first came out on the scene... I can remember the cool day glo and black light painting parties, in people's houses, all inspired by those albums too. Listening to music, in the darkness, with those colorful glowing paintings on the wall and ceilings...and mushroom lamps...it was groovy baby.
Ommmmm Peace and Love ?

I meant Feb. 7th (when they landed at JFK) through Feb. 23rd (their 3rd appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show)
1964 of course! The closest thing we have here to jelly babies is gummy bears, but I don't think they had been invented yet in 1964!

See, he had that little bald area even back then, it's just gotten a bit larger!

[quote="love2travel"][quote="LadyLeslie"] Is this a Linda photo, do you know? Hi love2travel, when I posted the photo, I got it from Instagram, without a photographer name, but after doing some checking found it is a Linda photo ) (See this post on pinterest https//www.pinterest.com/pin/72268768990178315/ ) I'll edit previous photo to credit Linda's name ) Below is probably another Linda photo, it's an interesting reflection, not sure how she took this... if it's a flooded pier, or glass or a mirror, or just the water itself!

Aww, poor little guy, was probably very sensitive about that at the time, even though it's not so bad
most men have it a lot worse!

That is called an "infinity pool." And Linda took that pic too. https://www.endlesspools.com/infinity-pool.php?gclid=Cj0KEQjw-73GBRCC7KODl9zToJMBEiQAj1JgfwaDytpmaM_bju6QZAfbJW1pLls_hsXuaD1WJ-Fto44aAtOL8P8HAQ

Thanks so much, Nancy!
Didn't know there were pools like this. This photo (from link you posted) almost looks like the same pool where Linda took the photo... wonder where it was located... My guess would be either the Caribbean, Southern California, or Florida.

Paul has a crown, like most people, but this is the internet, so it must be the worst thing in the world.

What bald area?
It used to be called a colic but it has grown as he has aged.

A crown? I thought most were just medals.

He sent the medals back after Driving Rain failed to hit #1.
