Great pics Adriana! I think he looks great in pink too (it takes REAL style and confidence for a guy to pull that off ), I love that second red guitar especially, and his hair looks *perfect* here.
Surely you are kidding. His hair looks like crap there! He needs a damn hair cut/styling!
http://rlv.zcache.com/buzz_kill_sticker-r34ec56ec299b4c28844797010c863209_v9waf_8byvr_512.jpg The photos ARE nice, Adriana--thanks for sharing them with us!
The pics are nice & the pink shirt is ok. (pink jacket is worse) BUT the HAIR! It's awful...looks like he has split ends galore. He still needs a haircut.
Just wanted to say that sometimes it's not that easy to get good hair. I have all sorts of issues with my hair and even tho I style it endlessly (hairdryer and curling iron) it keeps going it's own way due to the stupid cowlicks near my bangs... I found one hairstylist that knows how to deal with it and she's been out for 6 mos due to a foot operation... just saying... I've found the only answer is to put a ton of super hold hair spray on till it's like a helmet... lol and still sometimes it all goes wrong.... I think Paul looks really good no matter... I look at his face more than his hair anyway, and it still looks really cute to me!! Aww love these, where was this?
-
I think those were from South America. And I'm sorry but Paul can afford to travel with a hairstylist & if she had a broken foot he'd fly another one in. Of course he looks good but he would look so much better without his hair plastered on his forehead. And it would stop some of the chatter out there.

I think Paul likes his hair, even when many people don't like it, he loves to play with his hair when is on the stage. And he loves to use it longest. I guess he don't like short hair like he used to be in HM's times, adds he looks older with short hair, and he loves to looks younger

I have always loved that picture of Paul. I mean, just LOOK at him: He's oozing charm. He's even flirting with the cop!! It's like a scene from A Hard Day's Night except it's real. And the whole composition of the photo is fantastic: ciggie in mouth, the claustrophobic quality of the car squeezed between those walls with the girls standing up on the hill in the background seems to perfectly mirror the claustrophobia of the Beatles fame at their peak. Great photo.
hmmm...I wonder if this was him leaving the Asher's house when he stayed in their attic during the height of Beatlemania. He used to climb from an upstairs window and into the window of a neighbor who was an old man and his wife. he'd run through the house calling out, "Just passing through," and leave through a back route climbing down a fire escape while the girls were all out front hoping to see him.
No, I've seen where that is, and this is not it. (It's on Wimpole St. in the back of the house in the 'alley' behind)
Wimpole St? It must be near the Asher's then
Yes, it IS the Asher house--Paul lived there from 1964 to 1966. Saw Peter Asher today at Abbey Road on the River and he talked about Paul living in the upstairs room across from him.

Just wanted to make sure that we aren't making rude comments to each other over our Paul appearance preferences. Whatever I think of his hair or wardrobe, I direct my comments towards Paul's appearance, not other boardies.
I was confused, hence the which is supposed to mean that. I really thought she must be kidding.

No need to be confused--she likes the photos. Nothing wrong with that.

Yes it must be South America... Yeah, I guess if I had the money, I would have a traveling hairstylist running behind me with a blow dryer Still he's a guy and well you know... no worries... Personally, I don't seem to notice it that much... don't they have fans on stage blowing their hair around and then the fireworks and then working up a sweat doing the show, it must be difficult. I noticed that Randy and Brian had some hair moments too...

Oddly enough, Wix and Abe don't seem to have any trouble...

ops: ...didn't mean to cause such a stir! I'm sure we all have our preferences over how he looks or dresses, and don't need to all agree with one another 100% of the time...
-
I think the obsession with his hair makes people look petty and silly. And you expect him to remained perfectly coiffed during a rock-show??!! Well, I never.

NO ONE said anything about perfectly coiffed.

You can say it's "petty and silly" to care about his hair. But that's just denying reality, and the reality is: Style matters in pop and rock. It always has. And for some inexplicable reason, Paul has allowed his hair -- both the often bad coloring and lately the cut -- to become a punchline for 10 years now. He could do something about it, and he chooses not to, and people (including potential fans) are turned off by that. A good deal of the reason Bowie is being canonized lately for aging "gracefully" is purely because of style, since his latest record isn't any better than any of Paul's late-career records. You may not want it to matter but it does -- unless you're Neil Young or Bob Dylan. But if you're an artist like Paul who was a beautiful man for decades and who was in a band that set style trends for generations, people are going to notice if your hair always looks dodgy.
And you expect him to remained perfectly coiffed during a rock-show??
Yes. Bruce Springsteen manages it. He has a short, attractive style that looks good from start to finish in his 3 hour rock shows. A good cut would do Paul wonders, IMHO.

But Paul's hair still hasn't stopped him from selling out arenas/stadiums where ever he goes and I doubt the majority of the people at the shows are thinking about his hair.
