The fireworks were only from each side of the stage (plus there were the flame things on stage). There was nothing on the roof of the stage.
Bummer. Was hoping he'd do the big fireworks like he did in the US (and I think at Hyde Park?).
In Hyde Park, the fireworks wer behind the stage. It was 5 weeks ago today, Sergeant Pepper taught the band to play.

Scotland forever!!!!!!!!!! Wish I could have made it over for the Glasgow show.
-
I took along a friend for the Glasgow show and we were both totally mesmerised by it I still keep in touch with the woman I was sat next to with whom I danced for 3 hours but who I had never met before until that night. It really was a special sunny Scottish experience

Not only Scottish, the Dutch are here and were in Glasgow as well

I think this was the best concert of the UK dates. You guys that still post here are testament of that. I am sorry I didn't go to Glasgow ... I really regret it.

But you saw him in Dublin!!! I'm so glad the Europeans got at least a few chances to see him. All the Americans posting about how they want him back to the US after Aug, no, it's OUR turn now, it's America 20 vs Europe 5 (including 2 festivals!) so he better moves his ass back to Europe (and other locations around the world, but preferably including Europe)
-
Yeah Dublin was great. Would you believe I am still a little bit depressed that it's over I should have bought tix for Glasgow as well. The crowd there seemed to be terrific! And I absolutely agree with you about Europe dates. I think if he is doing more concerts after August he should do something in Europe.

Without doubt...if there are more tours to come there needs to be more European dates. Would snap up as many tickets as I could!

im pretty sure that regardless of what paul does now glasgow will be my.. wembly 89 liverpool 90 earls court 93 sheffield 03 earls court 03 sheffield 03 GLASGOW 10 7th and FINAL mccartney gig. they have all been fantastic,i enjoyed everyone. the sheer excitment of seeing him for the first time in 89 is hard to beat. however glasgow last month was pretty amazing and also quite suprising just how good he still is. liverpool in 1990 was unbeatable though.it was probably the pinnacle of my non marrige/kids related life.

1 week of holidays and when I'm back this thread is on Page 3 Just to remind you that it was only 7 weeks ago. Have you noticed that the set list of the 1st Toronto's gig is exactly the same as the Hampden's one (with Mull of Kyntire) ?

Yeah, 8 weeks ago we still had something to look forward to Wish they'd release Hampden on DVD (just like all the other people wish he'd release their gig). I'd love to see it back in good quality. Ha, I noticed the same-setlist too! Exactly the same. Not too original Mr. McCartney

Yes, and I thought it was something special to have MULL OF KINTYRE in the set list. Such an illusion!
