Hey guys, I'm trying to get tickets, but I never received any e-mail from paulmccartney.com, and now I'm not sure what to do for best. Any help would be appreciated, you seem like a nice bunch.

D Go to this page ... http//www.paulmccartney.com/tickets/ and enter the code PMFAN The four concerts are listed on the next page - click on the Hampden one for a choice of seating areas. Some areas don't seem to have any seats left. Good luck!!

Thanks. Yeah, it seems like all the best tickets are gone, but that's what you get for going to school/having parents who work. Should I just go for what's best now, or wait until the general sale to get better ones?

May as well just wait for the general sale...this concert isnt gonna sell out

Should I just go for what's best now, or wait until the general sale to get better ones? Personally, I'd try to get some now rather than waiting for the general sale which is normally busy. I suppose it depends on how many tickets you're after. If you want several seats together then I doubt you'll get much choice using the pre-sale links. But if you only want 1 or 2 then you may be lucky and find them. Have a look through the different sections and see what is available.

Hey everyone posting here for the first time, got offered tickets for AA7 but it's Row Z. I really wanted closer seats but I had uni this morning, and I wasn't aware that you had to actually use this site to get fan club tickets, I thought you would be able to do it through Ticketmaster as well. These seats seem quite far from the stage. Does anyone have any advice on whether I should stick with these or try to get better tickets on general sale on Monday? I don't know how many blocks have been kept for general sale. Also, does anyone know what the 'Past Bookers' presale is on Sunday at Ticketmaster? What does 'Past Bookers' mean? Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give. I'm so excited Paul is actually coming to Scotland! I'll get to see him here at home before I go to live in Spain in September. I just wish I'd known more about the tickets; I thought I'd done everything I had to as well to make sure I would get good ones.

It's right in front of stage centre, and only 26 rows back. I'd go for it.

To peterbell1, thanks. I ended up buying 3 tickets for that row. I think it's the best I'm likely to get and I don't want to miss out seeing Paul on home ground! Nearer rows would have been preferavle obviously, but these are pretty good seats as well. Can't wait!

To peterbell1, sorry I don't know how to do the quote thingy (I'll learn!) , that's cool! I'll give you a wave back, just a few rows in front then. What are your seat numbers? I've got 9, 10 and 11.

I've got 9, 10 and 11. ) Seats 15-17. We're taking my daughter who is 7 - I hope she gets to see OK because £85 is a lot pay if she can't see anything!! I'm sure she'll love it though. We went to V Festival last summer and she saw Oasis and the Killers and was even in the dance tent for Lady Gaga!! She's been listening to Beatles music since she was born - I'll have to get her started on Macca's solo stuff!! D Maybe even a bit of Mull of Kintyre?!? D
-
To peterbell1, that's cool. I hope she'll be able to see as well, cos like you say, it is a lot to pay! Although that is one advantage of the seated concert that children can get near the front. I think you have to be 14 or over for standing. Sounds like a good festival, I've never been to one myself. I'm sure she will love it though. Haha, yep, you'll have to get her started on Paul's solo stuff. Maybe a bit of Wings to begin with. I know my little sister loves Band on the Run, so how about that? Oh, and Mull of Kintyre is a must. If he doesn't play it at Hampden, where will he play it?

I feel a bit guilty for jumping onto your forum when tickets go on sale. If it's any consolation, I hog the computer way too much & my other half (who's the obsessed Beatles/Macca fan) can't get near it to join any forums. Thanks to all for the warm welcome. Will be a fab gig ... looking forward to a night to remember! x

such a shame that Paul, or his people, chose Hampden. an utterly dire place for concerts went to see the Rolling Stones there about 4 years ago and will never go again, not even for Paul (unless I manage to get some free tickets) I realise he can't exactly play King Tuts but even a big concert in Glasgow Green wouldve been better, and allowed people to stand

As a female with a large handbag, I am grateful for the seat to dump my stuff on ... everyone will stand anyway.

Okay, my mum finally came home, and we were able to get tickets in block BB7 row BB, I think. Not amazing, but not too bad, right? What do you think?

[quote="SayJayyx3"]Okay, my mum finally came home, and we were able to get tickets in block BB7 row BB, I think. Not amazing, but not too bad, right? What do you think? Excellent - well done! You're right in the middle, facing the centre of the stage, so I'm sure it will be great. The first couple of times I saw Macca was at Wembley Arena and Earls Court - both are hideous venues and I was right at the back, off to one side, but I still had a great time!!! D

As you would, with Paul. I suppose it wouldn't really matter what seats I got, as long as I go to the concert, but I'm not going to lie, I wanted good seats, haha. I love Paul for coming to Scotland. I'm so excited.
