At a shopping centre today I picked up a tour flayer for the gig. I will put this and my ticket in a special frame. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y136/EuanB/Paulflayer.jpg
Awesome! I hope they make posters out of this. Would be cool to have this framed in my living room

Well, with the planes not flying to/from Scotland again, I bought myself a back-up trainticket to the UK today. I have an A'dam-Glasgow planeticket but just in case they're gonna cancel flights again, I got myself a pretty cheap trainticket to London as well. Just to be sure.
I know, this has me very concerned. I feel like I've waited a life time (well I have) to see Paulie in the UK and now this damn volcano decides to wake up!!!!

I really hope it will be calm in June again. I don't mind spending extra days in Scotland after the show but I do wanna get there, preferably by plane. Let it explode all it wants NOW (sorry for the people who have to travel) and let it calm down in June.

+1 once I get to Scotland it can do anything it's little heart desires!

http://www.ticketsoup.com/EventSeatBlockPrices.aspx?Sys=ENTA Just been on the Ticketsoup website and there are quite a few tickets left on open sale for the pitch seating area, in this instance block AA9 which is to the front left of stage. Click on the link above and you can purchase 'between 1 and 10 tickets for this event' Kind of surprising that there are so many good seats on open sale with barely a month and a half left

Of course I had to see for myself You can't get 10 tickets for most seatings anymore though. They mention it but when you click '10', almost every time it says there are no 10 seats available anymore. Hope that makes you feel better I'm not surprised there are seats left in sections like AA9 (sorry for the people who have their seats there); I rather have a center tiered seat with good view on the stage than a seat on the far right or left. But that might be just me. Esp for the fireworks effects during LALD I'd like to have a good view on the stage. I'm soooooo ready for my tickets to arrive. Just 5 more weeks. Or whenever they get here.

Nick, there are and there will always be people on this earth who deserve happiness more than us/others but I think we have a right to 'under-go' a bit of happiness as well, right? Hope you and your wife have lots of fun! And of course lots of fun to everybody in here who goes to Glasgow.

I paid a lot of money (probably like most people did!) for good seats and I bought a pair of tickets in Block AA7 which I nearly needed a second mortgage for but McCartney's worth every penny. I only hope Hampden Park is at least reasonably full.

You weren't able to get your tix through presales from the website then? I saw on eBay that a lot of tickets are being sold for over GBP 100 a piece. That's at least GBP 20 more than what I paid for my ticket.

No, I could only find seats way back in the upper stands, and as i'm travelling from Manchester to Glasgow for my 35th birthday, I wanted to make it worthwhile. Ended up paying over £350 for the tickets in Block AA7 I can't really afford these tickets but McCartney is worth saving for.

That IS a lot of money. But he's worth every penny of it And 35 is a great age Only 3 more months for me to enjoy it.

I can't think of any other performer who i'd pay that amount of money to see. All too often the word 'legend' is thrown around but in Macca's case, it's a fitting title. I only wish my little lad was old enough to see him. He's 2 years old and loves Yellow Submarine

Let's summarize : I have paid my ticket but I have not yet received it. I have paid my flight but I am not sure that the plane will fly. But despite everything I am happy and I am quite confident that I will spend a splendid time (guaranteed for all ). On Sunday 20th, I will be at Hampden Park, on Saturday 19th at Maggie Mays and I have a wish for Friday 18th. I am not sure if it is the good place to talk football but as England is playing vs Algeria, I would like to watch the match in a british atmosphere instead of watching it in my hotel. Does someone know a good place for that ?

There's a sports bar that someone recommended to me, have to look up the address. I'm sure they'll air the English match there. If not, I'll watch it in my hotel room But I do hope they air the World Cup matches in Glasgow cause I wanna watch the Dutch team play on Sat. Don't worry about your ticket. They mentioned it will be send out early June.
