ah but 'audi' is a very rare thing indeed. hes a 'cool' american with great taste!.....very rare indeed.!
...AND he's cool enough to recognize just what a compliment that is!
ROTFL, you guys crack me up!
It must be befuddling: The same country that elected Obama also turned a blind eye to two stolen elections by Bush II. Sorry... ...had to take it "there" for a brief bit.
Hahaha! Cant wait for the Glasgow show! Say, Audi, how abou you come over here to this show? maybe we could be the warm up band...! lol Josh

http://www.ticketsoup.com/EventSeatBlock.aspx?Sys=ENTA Although the pitch seats are selling healthily, the above link to Ticketsoup is quite worrying. It seems that there's still LOADS of seats to be had in the stands and for there to be so many seats still available, I just hope it's not gonna be embarrassing, with masses of empty seats dotted around the stadium. Sir Paul deserves a better turn out than this and it's about time you miserable Jocks dug deep in your pockets and showed that your legendary tight-arsed ways can be disproven as an unjustified stereotype I'm not sure how the ticket sales are going for Cardiff and Hyde Park either, but they surely can't be any worse than this. Miserable $@***%&£!! The only way this show would sell out is if Paul was supported by a complimentary drinks bar! Shame on you Scotland
i can spot an 'anti scottish' slant when i see it. at least the scottish are not responsible for the disgusting right wing morals of a snakes belly goverment we now have in power. perhaps you lot should stick to morris dancing and flat beer!

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article1170496.ece Don't worry mate, us Mancunians won't turn Glasgow upside down like your lot did when Rangers played in the UEFA Cup final We're quite civilised when in good company ... honest : Besides, I think us McCartney fans have more scruples (if less faculties) in our old age

so where are people coming from to see Paulie...seen a couple are coming from mainland Europe and some from the States and of course...our neighbours across the boarder (boo ), wonder what type of a crowd we are gonna get.
I'm only coming from South Queensferry, just out side Edinburgh. Decided to take the car with 3 others and go early to ensure a good parking space. My friend went to a concert at Hampden and the diversions were crazy. They took her into the city and she wanted to go in the oposite direction but had no choice. Do we know what time the start is? and what a bout a support band? Any info. anyone? Can't wait. Hope the Ash problem doesn't stop anyone getting here for the concert.
ah your no far from me No idea about a support act but last year Springsteen didnt have a support band and I think doors opened about 4pm just like anyother gig at Hampden, thats normally the sort of time doors open for gigs at Hampden. Getting out of Hampden can be a nightmare, might be worthwhile parking away from the stadium and getting the train or bus in

Its weird, I think Pink the following week is sold out and most other gigs there the past couple years have been sellouts and fast sellouts but Paul just isnt doing it for us tight arsed Scots...ps can you no think of some more original jibes

It's a mystery. No disrespect to Pink and all the others, but here we have a former Beatle, a living legend, who fully deserves the title, and yet this Hampden show is being treated with as much indifference as the Queen's Dock outdoor show in 1990. That ended up getting switched to the SECC because of disappointing ticket sales. Has nothing changed in 20 years? I always assumed Macca had a good following up there

so did I, but apparently not. He does have some hardcore fans from around here but I dont know if he appeals to the more casual. I think there are two reasons sales havent gone so well (with the exception of the excuse of the recession not counting) 1) Its fully seating, most gigs at Hampden are ga and seating in the stands. Great disapointment that its complete seating, kills the atmosphere, could have had more sales from people wanting to go have fun at a concert, 2)ticket prices, these tickets are a lot more expensive than most gigs that have been on at Hampden, Pink is £50. Now I know you cant compare the two but her most expensive is still cheaper than his cheapest

to be fair.your right about that uefa cup final although wether the disgracefull supporters of glasgow rangers are a fair reflection of scottish society im not sure. im a celtic fan and the followers of my club have won awards around the world for the magnificent conduct of our supporters. im not sure you could say the same about the people who follow your national team[ENGERLUND] around the globe.! Just behave yourself and remeber you are representing your country at this macca gig.

Ok, thanks a LOT for the replies! It makes me feel safer. I've already talked to the people from the hotel in Glasgow and I've put their address as the shipping address.. So I think it's all good. And yea, I was told what the row was, but not the seat number. Thanks!
That's good to hear! So are you just visiting Glasgow?
No... I'm visiting other cities too. I started to draw my rout by choosing the concert I was gonna see - Glasgow looked like the best one for some reason - , and then I planned the rest of it. So I'm visiting Paris, Barcelona, Glasgow, Dublin, Berlin and Prague. It's not everyday that I have the chance to take a time off to travel plus it's very expensive.. Last time I had vacations was in mid 2008 and that was when I went to London.. I saw Eric Clapton playing in Hard Rock Calling and then a couple of weeks ago I heard Paul is playing there this year! That was what made me wanna go to Europe in the first place, but I didn't want to go to London again.. Plus I don't think Hyde Park is the type of place I'd like to see Paul for the first and probably last time.. Glasgow will be much better I think!

I'm sure the locals are going to LOVE you if you turn up to the Hampden gig speaking like this.
Oh yeah ... do I look like the sort of guy to walk into Hampden heckling the locals for their lack of spending prowess? I think i'll rebuke them all silently methinks
i stay 5mins away from hampden park, so im guessin i could be considered a local, and i spent £190 quid on tickets for the gig, considering i lost my job 2 months before the tickets went on sale i dont think i have lack of spending prowess lol.

Is that 5 minutes drive or 5 minutes walk? Hey, You got a parking space you want to rent out. Seriously !
-
5min drive lol, maybe 10. it would take about half an hour or more to walk it there but

Just take my chance on the main road from Asda facing Rutherglen. Don't want to get caught up in diversions and end up the city.

Hard Rock Calling today announced that they would announce the Sunday line-up by June 1 so we will probley have our support annouced on the same day hopefully i'm shocked how the concert isen't sold out. .
