so we will probley have our support annouced on the same day hopefully
Do you want a support act? Cause personally, I don't. But that's just my opinion. Rather have Paul play extra 3o min

Personally, I don't think Paul needs any support whatsoever. IMHO, the pre-show on the 2003 Back in the World tour was really original and a great way to begin a McCartney concert. As much as I like throwaway bands like the Kaiser Chiefs, they actually detract from the experience of seeing the great Paul McCartney live.
-
Support acts dont eat into the time...I'd personally prefer a support act, doors open before 5pm and we'd be waiting around until around about 8-9pm, may as well have a support act, Paul McCartney isnt the only musician in the world
-
Its actually beginning to look like it might be a sell out or as close to a sell out as it can be, most the tickets left are on the upper tier....got a challange for those that will be in the upper tier, see if you can make it shake. The Tartan army often manage it so would be quite entertaining to see you all enjoying yourselves and making the stand move

Anyone in here who got their tickets?
-
Is there anyone in here who is considering going but doesn't know for sure yet cause of the money for a ticket? I have a spare ticket that I don't mind giving away (not selling, it's free). BUT. I will only give it to that person personal in Glasgow since I don't want it to end up on eBay. Thing is, I got a regular ticket first (AA7 section), then decided to do the soundcheck package. If there's noone who wants to take it for free I'll try to sell it when I'm in Glasgow.

That's a very generous offer!! I have my tickets booked in AA7 as well so don't need yours, but I wanted to leave a message here to compliment you on your generosity.

Thank you for your kinds word, my boss called me crazy, lol (he's the coolest boss btw). I hope I can help anyone out. If not, I'll have 2 seats, lol. I have no idea where I'll be seated with the ticket from the VIP package, I hope it's closer to the stage than row R. With Live & Let Die I can walk over to that seat so I can see the fireworks better (and be further away from it ). I'm still hoping they're gonna do the big fireworks like they did in all the outdoor stadium gigs. The indoor fireworks were o.k. but not spectacular.

Does anyone know what the seating plan is like? I've got Pitch Block BB7, and I would like to know how close this is? I paid the higher amount for the ticket. Oh and Milcon1998, you are very generous in your offer! Wow, kindness still exists in this world. Hey if AA7 is closer I'd swap! Has anyone actually received their tickets in the post yet? I'm still waiting! :

Hi If you go into the link below, you will see the seating plan. Your block is in the centre, just behind the front block, pretty good seats. http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/event/17004462CDCD714E?artistid=735610&majorcatid=10001&minorcatid=1 I bought a ticket from crowdsurge and ticket soup, don't have any yet. I think it will be soon, as a lot of the Dublin crowd has theirs. Can't wait now!!

I suppose with such a big even they'll be leaving it as late as possible to avoid touting. I guess. Lx

Thats quite a normal set up for gigs at Hampden...well with the exception of the seats on the pitch. That reminds me,was chatting to my dad about there being seats at the Macca gig at Hampden and he said that Scotland isnt really a nation for sitting down at gigs, how do the fellow scots on the board feel about that. Also its getting to the stage where its looking increasingly likely that there will be no support band which is a bit of a shame

I agree, I hate seating at gigs. I always like to be at the front, and if standing, I don't mind going early to queue for a good spot. With seating, it's too hard to get front seats, never mind the expense (for this gig anyway). Even if I did get front seats, I still dont want to sit, then people behind you who are sitting start moaning at you to sit down. The best I could do for this is 7th row, which is ok I suppose, but it's not like being at the front! DCBeatle, have you decided if you are going yet?
-
7th row isnt to bad, but yeah I know what you mean, to be honest I aint even to bothered about being at the front but at least if its standing you know you arent going to have someone behind you moan to sit down. I would have def been there in a queue to get as close as possible though, I just dont really want to pay for seats which arent that great, I was looking forward to this concert, but cant be bothered with it anymore, so probably not be going. Dont think I'll decide to right near to the end though, maybe see if there are re-release tickets

Its odd that you went over to the USA last year to see Paul and yet not going to a show in your own Country? Is there a reason for this?

Even if I have to sit on the floor all night, I'm going! Don't care where I'll be seated. I wanna hear the music, see the band. That's what it's all about.

Hi, Anybody got a place to sleep in glasgow? I am trying to keep my stay as "low budget" as possible, and it would be fun to hang around with a real macca fan in the great Glasgow.

It is I know, but I had my sights set on being up front, normally I'm not that bothered but for this one I was eager to be up front, but I refuse to pay ridiculous price. I've seen him a good few times now anyway so I'll go with the flow.
