you shouldnt be. the last time he planned a big stadium gig in glasgow it was a disaster!. they had to switch venues to a smaller indoor arena at the last minute!
-
There were circumstances the last time he played Glasgow, why the ticket sales were slow. It was during the 1990 World Cup and Scotland might have been playing on that particular night, had they qualified for the next round. It was only on the Wednesday before the show that Scotland were eliminated, and by that time they had moved it indoors. It still probably would not have sold out, but I think it would have been better attended on the night. On another matter, the tickets are overpriced, but my tickets are right in front of the stage and cost £95. The same tickets for Bon Jovi at the O2 cost £235. I know who I'd rather see and I bet Bon Jovi are not on stage for nearly 3 hours.

Would of thought being as it's Paul it would of been Sold Out by now
-
nah.tickets are to much and its all seating. Is also to big a venue
-
My tickets for AA11 were £70.I don't think thats too much for Paul Mccartney - especially if the likes of Pink are £55.Relativley speaking thats value for me.Also there's no way Hampden is too big for Macca - bizzare comment. This will sell out no problem.I've heard rumours of another date.
-
I'll be genuinely shocked if he manages 2 nights at Hampden. He is nowhere near selling this one out and other acts who have appeared there recently have sold out relatively quickly compared to this. This night will be near full
-
Usually the contingency of a second night has been considered and decided upon before the tickets go on sale for the first. And the second night is authorised, announced and sold immediately during that same sale - dependant upon the actual demand for the first night. That is when demand is at it's highest and people are most likely to take second night tickets. I've not heard of a second night being announced so long after the first date has been sold. And the market has been lost, for those keenest for the premium seats have either secured their tickets or gone to a reseller by now. There would be an outcry from those at this late stage. So I'd personally discount any rumours of a second night. Although there is a news item announcing a second night at the Hollywood Bowl the fact that there was was already known as the date had opened up to buyers on the first pre-sale date. Martin

In my mind selling out a stadium is harder than an Arena, not just because of the larger capacity but because of the vastness of it all.I mean who wants to be right at the back of a huge venue like Hampden or the Millenium Stadium, and at a high price too,not me.I find it amazing anyone sells out at the high prices that gigs are now, considering you'll mostly end up at a shitty place to sit/stand.

- Ha! Good to know I'm not the only nut that started counting down I'm gonna see some excellent bands this year, first the Pinkpop festival here in Holland (with a.o. Editors, Green Day, John Mayer, Mando Diao), then Macca and later this year U2. Jolanda

There has been very good feedback here on the board with regard to customer service at CrowdSurge. Members have reported prompt replies. A week seems a bit long without a response. Have you checked your spam folder? If nothing there, you may want to consider e-mailing them again. Perhaps they never received your original e-mail.
