Whoa. The Time cover brought back memories. I was on my way to South Korea and had just seen Wings in DC a couple days before. Was on leave prior to my tour in Asia with the US Army. My sister bought me this issue for my flight. She also bought me Salem's Lot by Stephen King. So I had Paul and vampires sharing my flight over the Pacific. Thanks for the memories LadyLeslie.

^ 1976, right? The book came out in Oct. 1975 and I read it then, Have every book Stephen King has written!

You're welcome, wingsoverkc. Glad the Time cover brought back good memories for you! Nancy and several others have posted lots of great covers in this thread. Stephen King was probably a better vampire read than Ann Rice, but her Interview with the Vampire came out much later.

^ And “titbits” cracked me up! Umm...I think it’s “tidbits” guys!
And remember we were wondering what year this pic was? Scroll back to the 1993 magazine cover with different pose!
Titbits
For some reason I didn't catch that! I wonder if that is just the British spelling of our Americanized "tidbits"?
Thanks for catching that 1993 magazine cover date! The photo session is probably from publicity for the "Get Back" concert that was televised. I checked the "Get Back" bloopers video at
to see if Paul was wearing the same shirt, but during the part with Linda and the band he's wearing one that's similar, but is black and white. He's wearing the same shirt and also the yellow and black one that's in the photos (at 4:23 mark) in edited segments of this video from the "Get Back Tour"In the "Bloopers" video, always laugh at the "first word association" part when he kept saying "Sex." So cute! Such a strong, handsome, masculine man, but at the same time always a cute little boy too... I bet he probably still plays with rubber duckies in the bathtub
That bit with the concert was cute and they look like they were having fun too! I went to that concert series so it was so good to see it close up, cause I watched the show from the nosebleed section. Nice to see the checked artwork from the stained glass artist on the catalog.
The bloopers were so funny, doing all the takes and the and fooling around. The word association too LOL was cute!
I wonder if Paul has an astronaut rubber duckie in his collection...

Nancy, thanks for posting the magazine cover. I was going to do that but had computer problems last night.

That's great you were able to see one of the shows during the Get Back tour!
The bloopers were funny, always enjoy watching them! The moment that stood out for me was when Linda put her hands on his shoulders from behind. She was always so reassuring, loving and protective of him. Just her presence with him, whenever he was doing his work, must have been such a blessing to him.
This photo wasn't a magazine cover, it was featured in a People magazine article in 1991

I was so happy about getting tickets and that I did get to see Linda as well, in concert. Linda and Paul always seemed to be so caring to each other, as if they could almost read each others mind. It was a beautiful loving and caring relationship, truly blessed. That is such a beautiful photo of the two of them, very happy.

Thanks so much for your comments, Love2Travel! Sometimes I get too mushy about Paul and Linda, and don't get any replies , but mean well. Anyway, agree with everything you wrote. I'm sure they both realized how lucky they were to have found each other, not many people are able to find or experience the type of love or special connection they shared. It goes without saying that they created a beautiful life together for themselves and their children. I'm as much a fan of Linda as I am of Paul!
