A big hug for Paul...
-
ya, a teedy bear hug. and a care bear one too.

All I want to say, that I love you Paul! A very big hug from me with the little disturbing feeling of incapability. I want to help you, but I am useless a nobody, who just want to show her love for you! Wish I could be a comforting thought in you head or a warming sunshine on your chest.
-
Whatever the case is, I love you Paul and if there was any way I could give you an ounce of happiness for how much happiness you've given me, I would do it. *BIG HUGS!!!*

It was about eight years ago. Linda McCartney had died at the end of April of 1998, and Paul's fans knew he'd be in bad shape. A friend described him as "gutted" about this time. So after a little while, a group of people on one of Paul's email lists decided to do something, rather than just worry. They decided to do what each could do--pray if they were religious, or send good vibrations, or warm thoughts, whatever seemed right to them. They even made up an acronym for it, which was SOUL--Sending Our United Love. We all did it simultaneously, for 15 minutes--in my time zone, it was 2 pm on a Sunday afternoon. We never knew whether Paul felt our united support, but it was certainly good for us--we concentrated some energy on loving someone we'd never met, but who was very important to us. Someone wondered at the time how we could care so much about someone we'd never met. Not only do I care about Paul, I care about anyone he's ever loved. But Paul is the one (of the two of us) who's written Let It Be, and Hey, Jude, and One of These Days. He's very determined, he's persistent, and he's a lover, baby, not a fighter. So I still think that Paul has SOULed for us more than we have SOULed for him, but a little extra love never did anyone any harm.

I can't express any better than what's already been said on this truly lovely thread. All we can do is let him know that we care.
-
Let's all send our luck for the both of them. In the form of a hug.

Giant hug and well wishes to Paul and his family. I was thinking that I hope he isn't sad - and I pray that all is well for him. Edit : Certain posts on this Thread have been edited. Please remember the forum rules. Any direct references to Paul's private life and any comments that will draw attention to his private life will be removed Thanks

World hugs too Paul...hes the Man!

I'm not sure just what we are sending our good thoughts and wishes for as the "code of silence" seems to be in effect, but if there is something troubling Paul and his loved ones then I will certainly pray for them. I cannot stand the thought that he is suffering in some way! ((BIG HUG)) jennywren
