Silly questions for Paul
-
... thinkin' I'm gonna roll that one back up if I still can, not really into placing things like that out here because it feels slightly awkward having to scroll past it on the page. I like these threads of Doris' too, always have favored 'em ... and Nemo there are definitely some areas on the board that I rarely, if ever, drift off towards ... sort of learned that if I ventured in some areas that the likelihood of bumping into either topics or edits that might bum me out was heightened. Rather than get caught up in that up/down rollercoaster I just think it's more reasonable to pick and choose a little more effectively. Seems to generally work for me ... and that's a good thing. Paul do you really use Ivory soap?
-
Opus, I knew you were gonna squirrel that one away, so I copied it. Is that cool with you? Cause it was so lovely and I'd like to read it every now and then? If not I'll delete it... Paul can you give good back massages? I mean maybe your hands get tired of playing all those instruments to do that for someone, however I am thinking you can...I was just wondering cause my back hurts today.
Your cats must be all so happy to live with you Nemo! I am so happy your black one is happy today!
Gee, Nemo...do you think we could be witches? Paul might be afraid of us!
Now you 'see' it now you don't! That is so funny Opus!
Oh! The wolf moon is beautiful! That is groovy cause I pray under the moon all the time. Lately, especially for my wolf's physical and mental health, and his spirit. (and I pray for my dear friends and the Universe, etc...) Yes, thankyou Doris for this thread. I can't seem to deal with the other realities.
-
Well I was coming back out to ask Nemo what the primary language was (i.e. the first or native one) ... that sort of thing always seems interesting to me. I really enjoy the multi-linguistics. And moon ... I haven't a problem in the world with you having copied it, so be my guest. Seems as though you've somewhat figured me and my fickleness out eh? Well that's cool too.

One last thing before I go ... do either of you have cat's that are polydactyl's? One of mine does, while the other is just really curiously patterned ... she's got leopard like spots on her belly, and tabby markings on her face and front legs and then circles and stripes on her sides and back. Very wild looking kitty she is ... and she's always like, pushes things off of surfaces ... you know, pens, change, paperwork ... yikes. Anything that she takes a fancy to of mine ... I keep losing stuff at this point, she's a real sweetheart ... but she's very curious about everything.
-
I don't have any cats right now Opus. 'Back massages by Paul,' that has a nice ring to it! Don't get conflicted Opus, I can understand though!
I wonder what Paul will be doing on this historic anniversary? Well, whatever he does I hope he doesn't let things 'get to him' if he is introspective and stuff as he is bound to be. Or conversely you know something on the other way he could go. Paul I am sending you groovy vibes for this weekend!
Have a nice day Opus!

Groovy vibes are cool ... chalk full of positivity. Great idea, I was sending some out last night to California (strategic positive vibes you know) to someone that wasn't feeling well. ... in that case, don't be introspective Paul ... or circumspect or whatever it is that might bum you out. Thanks moon, hope you do the same ... and Nemo and Doris too.

I understand, Opus, about your poem. Hope it wasn?t because of anything I said; I didn?t intend to offend you. I am dutch and I don?t practise English enough to get the nuances right. I guess you worked out a fine strategy to cope with this board. I will keep that one in mind. Sometimes I get the feeling I adopted a minefield when I joined this board.
Yeah moon, my black one is doing fine. She forgave me dropping her at the vet. I hope your wolf is doing fine too? Sorry to hear your back hurts. None of my cats are polydactyl?s Opus. But they all fit the description you gave from your beautifully patterned kittie. Well, the character you described. Don?t you think we are the three witches of Paul?s board?
Perhaps we should get our broomsticks and gather somewhere. Next full moon? I will be gone till Sunday. Have a nice weekend. I am sending you groovy vibes for this weekend too. Hope you will have pleasant dreams about Paul giving back massages.
Paul would you be afraid of us if we were witches? Hope you will enjoy your memories from that historical/hysterical day.

About introspection, laying low, it is not a bad thing at all. Everyone is still with Paul anyway, you know?
-
Well you two will have to excuse me while I go to the opposite end of the color wheel for a moment:
Aren't these just adorable?
-
By the way ... I'm a technologist, not a witch. Although that's a pretty scary concept for some people ...
. ... boo.
-
They are very pretty cubs. Are they Siberian Tiger cubs? I am feeling very small in the Universe right now. I just went to a store and all over was Valentine's Day stuff. Now I am sad and conflicted. Isn't that silly of me? I did not think I'd feel this way this year.
If I disappear for a few days, don't worry I'll be back. You all have a nice weekend.

Say paul do you have an electric blanket or do you prefer a quilt to keep you warm. love doris.

I loved that question and that response 'coming-up' ... too cute. You'll have to forgive me 'coming-up' I'm doing some pre-spring cleaning here.
Somewhat rude given that you quoted me, but there you go.

Opus:
I loved that question and that response 'coming-up' ... too cute. 'moonchild' I understand I suppose, but don't let that get you too down or anything. Don't know if that helps or not, although honestly some of these holiday's are tripping me out in general. I mean ... what's the point again? Think about it, who really benefits ... not talking about the "lover's" of the world ... I'm talking more about the bottom line. I personally prefer to limit the amount of trees that I'm personally responsible for uprooting you know. If I raced to the store everytime the greeting card industry insisted that I should ... well I'd be much more conflicted than whether or not I've got someone to either wish well on a particular holiday or not. I feel conflicted enough going to the grocery store and responding to the "paper or plastic" question ... that one always seem like a trick question with no "right" answer you know what I mean? Hmmmm ... do I wanna fill a landfill with a bunch of stuff that may not completely decompose for several years or worse still end up doing some other type of damage to the environment or do I wanna be responsible for more trees being mowed down. Some questions are really a pain in the ... well, you know what I mean. Often times I refuse the bag altogether and I can't quite relate to all the junk mail, the unnecessary receipts for things (I'm gonna end up with a statement if I put it on my ... well once again you get the point I'm sure). Anyhow ... you take care and don't let the fallacies get you down. What about you Paul ... are you annoyed by the "paper or plastic" question too, or do you even pay attention to that?
I saw Paul walking his dog in a tabloid pic with plastic. But plastic can be recycled. Their should come a law to bring you own bags, don't you think?

Oops ... yes, those are Bengal Tigers. The rare white variety and they're triplet's. Cuties aren't they??
-
Ahhh ... never mind, I probably need to go start an anything and everything related blog somewhere or something.

Paul have you ever been skiing love doris.
-
Water or snow Doris ... too funny, I mean my verbosity versus your brevity.
