I think of him as an "Ever Present Past" kind of guy! (That's a dig to his current set list in case you didn't catch my drift!)

I think he's tried to change his set list off and on, and test a different song here and there, but sometimes audiences don't appear enthusiastic. A friend of mine was at his KC concert in 2014 and said whenever he did some different songs, slower and less familiar but still beautiful nonetheless, that was the time when people in the audience got up and walked around, went to the bathroom or to get snacks and drinks or to chat loudly with their friends, etc. (Thought that was rude and disrespectful of them by the way! And also, if I've paid good money for a chance to see Paul, I wouldn't be able to leave my seat! And would enjoy hearing any of his music he'd like to share. ) But my point is, when an artist sees that kind of a reaction (how could he not notice!) it may be more comfortable to stick with routine and what will bring the best audience reactions, which is too bad. Anyway, just my opinion.

In 1969, when you kicked off your sandals for the Abbey Road photo, was the pavement too hot to walk on, and you wished you would've kept them on?

Probably wasn't the eyepatch, since he isn't wearing one... but he probably enjoyed hoisting the black flag, having a parrot on his shoulder, drinking some grog, singing some shanty songs, and getting the opportunity to wink at a few saucy wenches....

Wondered about that too...what month was that Abbey Road photo taken? I'm wondering if there was any Arrgh's or Shiver Me Timbers going on there? The costume is great!!
