Wanted to share these videos of Paul's wonderful acoustic guitar playing. I love seeing him play electric guitar/bass with his band of course, and also enjoy seeing videos of him performing with the Beatles, but especially enjoy listening to his acoustic playing, maybe because there's a special feeling he puts into it. Perhaps it's because he was singing for (or thinking of) Linda in the songs below, and in "Here Today" there's always some feeling associated with his memories of John. Paul performing "Words of Love" (a Buddy Holly song, also recorded by The Beatles)

"Calico Skies"The "Calico Skies" video is heartbreaking, with Linda by his side as he sings,"I will hold you for th erest of my life."

Thanks for sharing the video of Paul singing "Calico Skies" for the Christopher Reeve telecast "Celebration of Hope" (199. Have to admit I teared up a little, because you can see how much feeling Paul puts into the words! This is another good guitar video, of Paul singing "For No One." Love hearing him sing this, it's such a beautiful melody.

If you're talking about the RSO Recording, it was released in 1976.

Sorry, when I googled it, the first thing I saw was a YouTube thing that said 1978, I looked again and Wikipedia does say 1976. That was an even better year! I turned 21 and saw Paul in concert for the first time!

P.S. That episode of Solid Gold in the first video was from 1985.

Maybe '86, because the recording was celebrating 10 years.
