@njr Some ppl shouldn't be allowed to age. By law!! Or die. And JPG & R should be in that category. They wrote the soundtrack to my childhood. After more than 50 years, I can still remember things I did as a child, by remembering the Beatles record that was playing at the time. And Christmas here in the UK ,
sometimes meant a Beatles movie would, be played on Christmas morning on TV. Remember, no Internet. No vhs. No dvds. No Youtube. You ONLY saw a Beatles film if a TV station deemed to broadcast one. And year's might have gone by since the last one. Boy! It was a treat! Ah! The good old days. -
@wandy EXACTLY!

@njr Don't get me wrong. I love Youtube, you can see the Beatles any time of day, 24/7. But maybe that's the problem. It must be like having 3 third tap on your kitchen sink. The third tap is warm running creamy silky soft milk chocolate. Available 24/7. It's not a treat anymore!! We are never satisfied lol!!!

I got a reply from Jay Goeppner - he loved it and gave me 2 ď¸s!
He thinks it was him in 2011 with the Army shirt! (Beatleweek) -
@njr No its definitely before 2011. 2008 was the last time I ever went to Liverpool. Haven't been back sinceď¸ Glad he liked it though. As I said in a previous posting, I chatted with him and the rest of Instant Karma. Nice guys.

No, you misunderstood-not denying the video was from 2007. Iâm just telling you I saw who Iâm pretty sure was him in 2011 at Beatleweek.

@wandy Jay just FB messaged me, it IS him in that 2011 pic I just posted.
-
@njr Ah! OK. I thought you ( or somebody) said that Jay saw my film of him singing and he thought the shirt he was wearing, made the clip 2011. It couldn't be 2011 as i haven't been to Liverpool since 2008. Actually in the clip I'm sure I put the date. I think it said 2007.

Yes. First track off the album. I bought a polo shirt at the concert. Terrible itchy material. One weekend we went to search out his Hog Hill windmill studio. We eventually found it. Had my photo taken at the gates. But that darned polo shirt itched the cr*p outta me. I dumped it the moment I got home. Still remember that after more than 30 yrs.
