Okay, so, Paul, now that you made the official annoucement on your website and corrected the press and even put up your photos of THE BIG EVENT, can you please allow your other guests to put their personal photos of the great day up on their social networking sites so that those of us who never will ever get to attend such an event can live vicariously through them? (Or even if I was so lucky to attend such an event, I'd be a fish out of water and hide in the bathroom or something).

Paul has always known how to separate his public life, open to the press, and his private life, closed off to all but his friends and family. He's talked often of the "two Paul's", the one the fans see, and the one his inner circle sees. Let's not forget that our ways of doing things aren't always going to be other people's ways of doing things. He released the photos and information that he and Nancy wanted to release. We're lucky that he chose to do that much, frankly, and that he chose to get married in a way that allowed the public to have a chance to share in some of the moments of his special day. He's already done more than a lot of stars would have. I like that he has those boundaries, frankly, as it's a refreshing change from today's voyeuristic society, and the celebrities who need to share every bowel movement with us. roll wink

Paul didn't sell the rights to party to a magazine or reality show. This was personal to him and Nancy and it should stay that way. One of the things I love about Paul is his ability to separate his job (that is what this is) and his real life. The reception was real life.
No but he asked his friends who took pics not to post them. the only pics I don't post are the ones that might get a NC-17 rating.
I don`t think you can really compare yourself with one of the most famous people in the world. (Although, actually, I wouldn`t want my friends putting my private pictures on Facebook either)

I think its about time to let this subject alone, they are married and thats the end of it

HOney, you don't like the thread, then just stop reading it. If the rest of us are enjoying the conversation, why end it? as far as breakfast in bed for the bride, I once went to a wedding shower where the groom (who back then was only required to make an appearance not stay for the whole thing) was giving a gift by the bride's friends. It turned out to be a serving tray with little legs designed to serve breakfast in bed. we all got a kick out of that and what a great gift! (It actually comes in handy)

Barbara Walters said she asked Paul and Nancy's permission (which they gave) to use the private family photo of Nancy's family (which includes) Barbara on the View.

I thought the same thing. and it seemed he rather enjoyed them too. See, Paul, we can be nice when we want to be and not scarey.
