PAUL AND NANCY ARE MARRIED!
-
I was at the soundcheck in Chicago & Nancy came out for just a few minutes & I had a sign like that. I went up to her (she was seated) & I said "just a joke" & unrolled my banner. It said "congrats on your upcoming wedding. Where's my invite?" She laughed!!!
-
lol--too funny! She seems so nice and down-to-earth, a perfect person for Paul. )
-
I don't know if people with that much money can ever be described as down to earth but yes, she does seem good for him. I hope! Fingers crossed!
-
lol--good point. ) How about this She doesn't seem to want publicity, and doesn't seem to mind travelling all over just to be with him for a few days before she has to head back to her job. ) As for the money, she has enough of her own to care how much he has, so that's a plus. All in all, I approve, Paul. You have my blessing. (I think this is what he's been waiting for, so now the wedding can take place) lol lol
-
I can agree to that! She doesn't want to steal the spotlight from Paul. Heck, we've barely heard her speak.
-
Yup--just one article involving her, and she didn't even want that written. ) I'm just happy that Paul found someone to make him happy--he's been through enough, and done enough good for others.

Exactly and I hope the two of them have many years of wedded bliss.
-
I wish he should be happy with the one he loves. Perhaps that happiness will reflect in future music. love doris

NO they can't. But they can learn to understand the concept in theory and even that is rare and usually only done by the males. (at least my own observations with my anthropology skills on that tribe)
-
Of course someone who has money can be down to earth...look at Paul, everyone says he is down to earth. I've heard people who know her say the same thing about Nancy. It all depends on how you have been brought up. Wouldn't you say Linda Mac was down to earth? I wonder if they were waiting for Mary and Simon's latest child to arrive first...which happened this past weekend (a little boy named Sid).
-
I also heard (and I wish I could remember where, and that I knew if this was a reliable source) that Paul wanted to focus on the ballet premiere before doing anything else, so as not to rob the ballet of the spotlight. Maybe post-Ocean's Kingdom premiere? I'm sure we'll be deluged with wedding news once it happens, though. lol
-
Paul was born and raised without money. That makes the difference a bit. I've also been told the sense of entitlement that comes with money is an American thing. One thing I am grateful about in those nasty rich broads harrassing me while growing up is that I don't possess that trait. Linda rebelled against her parents but her father still talked down to her. There is that story of him ordering her around and Paul stepping in saying he'd appreciate it if he didn't talk to his wife like that. in my family, I stood up to my father myself and got him to stop by arguing and then making a deal.

Which day was he born?
-
I'm not expecting the wedding to happen in September. Between the ballet and the 9/11 movie premier, he's got a full plate. Maybe a Halloween nuptual with a werewolf minister? (I know of one)
-
hey at the Chicago show I did a sign for a priest (a friend) & Paul read it aloud during the show! It said "I'm a priest, can I do your wedding?" Paul said yes!
-
I wonder if he needs a ring bearer. I'd be happy to volunteer. lol Too bad they're going to a Justice of the Peace, or the English equivalent. Maybe I could drop the flower petals as they walk out?

We don't konw that's where they're going. Over the summer, papparazzi filmed them walking through the streets of New York and among the places they visited where episcopalean churches. I wondered if they were scouting locations. the churches were small but very elegant.

Mary's husband tweeted that Sid was born on Saturday Sept 3. http://www.examiner.com/paul-mccartney-in-national/paul-mccartney-becomes-grandfather-again I think this may be the reason why the Target Field show that was in negotiation for Sept 1 suddenly fell through with an explanation of "scheduling conflict."

They could have a very intamite private wedding they both would remember for an eternity. I think the marriage the create is the most important thing for them now., love doris

It's official that they're gonna get married in the U.K. I think it was Nancy who said so in an interview or it was in the official announcement.
