Thanks, guys. the version I'm looking for that was on youtube and in a thread on this board began with Paul in a bowler hat like those paintings he collects. I used to be obsessed with that video when I had it on VHS. I watched it a few times a day for months back in the 80s. I can't afford the dvd of the new boxed set. (I probably could...and might but I'm trying not to spend that much money)

Legend says that Paul made this version as an apology to George. They weren't getting on during the late 80s and George had publically made several statements of his resentment of Paul treating him like a kid all those years. When Paul didn't come to the induction in the ROck and Roll Hall of Fame, George was a little cruel. according to legend, George saw this and then called Paul up and they forgave each other.

Wow, that's such a great story. Thanks for sharing that, Kathryn O! In spite of whatever differences the Beatles may have had in 1969, etc., I feel they were like brothers, and wouldn't be able to hold resentments or grudges for long. They all shared a special bond of everything they had experienced and worked through together, and that could never be broken.
