My eyes are great, but I can see where it might bother older people. I just like spaces and paragraphs. They were invented for a reason.
I quite agree!
I'm getting to the stage I don't know whether there is a problem with my eyes or general grammar of the mass public. I read the newspaper (on line) and read the "peoples' comments. Am I missing something with my eyesight or the fact that more folks these days don't know how to spell or are too busy abbreviating? Either way, by the end of it I have a headache. I am not so sure it is my eyesight.
It's definitely not your eyesight! It is appalling how many people can't spell (and don't care!) and abbreviate too much.

I don't tolerate bad grammar. It's the reason I don't read other comments than my own.

But you read our comments/posts on here? I assume you mean reading comments on other websites?
-
Yes, I am perhaps less critical here, since it is PaulMcCartney.com, he needs all the help I can give him. I must be kind to his fans.

What bothers me most about New are the liner notes. I don't like that everything's in phone text now.
I agree. I think there's an old Dylan album from the 60's with hard to read liner notes like this.

...said the person with a run-on sentence in his/her post.

Okay, I admit that I created a soulful sentence at the cost of the technical. I'm not 110% pedant, only 100... And I am he, just like Jimi (Hendrix) and Henrik (Ibsen).
-
That second sentence begins with a conjunction -- another no-no.
-
It's why my English language is pure art. I'm not locked in conventions. Just wait and see, I will conquer America with it. And no-no, don't give me this "guitar sentences are on the way out" and "Hendrix Ibsen have no future in word business,". I've heard it all before.

Sure, just having some fun.
