yes this is it thank you ,do you know anyone who loves that song,i dont like to think that i am the only one ,is it posible to be one of his worst albums,i already love 3 tracks without knowing the others
Is little ol' me enough? I like the tune a lot. This is probably my favourite from McCartneyII:
what is ol?

i had heard one time a "medieval" style song( i know) from this album, sadly i dont know the name of the song,i know it is from mccartney2.
I believe you're thinking of "Don't Let It Bring You Down," but that's from LONDON TOWN, not McCARTNEY II. Essentially Paul's re-write of "Greensleeves."
I think he's heard Summer's Day Song which is indeed from McCartneyII:

Check out
If you go for that one, McCARTNEY II might just wind up your favourite album of all-time... -

It is an excellent song. Could have been a fantastic one though. Sounds like a well advanced demo - although that is part of its charm. It would fit nicely on 'Low' by Bowie.
what's your rank,out of 10?
6 or 7 out of 10

Without a doubt, McCartney II is his worst...and one of the most embarrassing albums ever released by any major artist. Ever. As they said on the radio at the time, "Well, he still does look cute."
I guess that's why Mojo magazine just gave the McCartney II reissue 4 stars.
I respect Mojo Magazine. You know, if McCartney II had been released as McCartney II: Home Recordings, the critical regard for this album wouldn't be such an issue. But, McCartney II is aptly titled. The man, himself, that he probably got too caught-up in synthesizers at that time, but some interesting music came out of those sessions. Experimental artists like Laurie Anderson isn't everyone's cup of tea, as well -- myself included. But I wouldn't say her music sucks. It just doesn't resonate with me. The first McCartney wasn't technical perfection either. So the f-ck what?

i think your all going way overboard on 'mccartneyII'. okay theres some nice moments, but there is on every mccartney releases. its a seriously flawed album that is almost impossible to play all the way through. 'summers day song' is a nice moment but its hardly a song. 'coming up' was a good single.'waterfalls' is nice enough and 'one of these days' is alright.'temp sec' is pretty decent but annoying. however thats it.the rest is totall garbage of the highest order. a strong contender for the worst ever mccartney album.a very strong contender.

Not just the worst McCartney album -- the worst of the solo albums, period. I've never said there aren't a few nice moments on it -- it is McCartney, after all -- but when it's bad, it's absolutely odious...

The fact that it went #1 here in the USA for 3 weeks and that I loved it and obviously according to multiple sources John Lennon loved it so much proves it's worth.. It helped John get back in the studio..I think the quote from the Fred Seaman book was "John cheerfully exclaimed"it's driving me crackers".. and he kept singing it...Jack Douglas, John's producer from DOUBLE FANTASY echoed the same statements.. Lyrically it's a complete track with great words..no filler and album version was funky..awesome. and was one of Billboards top 10 songs of 1980....

The thing about Paul is that even on his worst solo songs there is something good in everyt hing he does..The main problem with him was that he didn't finish a lot of songs lyrically speaking... He's even admitted it.. I always think of "Freedom", the original premise is great but the damn song needs one more solid verse..it's half baked...Same with "Backwards Traveller", the song leaves you wanting more and he ends it prematurely.. "Darkroom" is another example, I love the sound ouf it and his voice on it but it needs words!!! "Summer's Day Song" feels the same way to me.. "To You " should have been a classic Paul track, it rocks like a mother and his vocals kick ass but it needed lyrics!!!! The only track that's I could never figure out was "Tug Of Peace", great idea but it was obvious that was a complete sticker in the first 15 seconds..The only thing Paul needs a producer for is for someone to be honest with him cause no one is gonna be perfect everytime, but he is capable himself of producing great work STILL!!!
