Without a doubt, McCartney II is his worst...and one of the most embarrassing albums ever released by any major artist. Ever. As they said on the radio at the time, "Well, he still does look cute."

I guess that's why Mojo magazine just gave the McCartney II reissue 4 stars.

Exactly! I have never been much a fan of it, not giving it much airplay on the pod but I was listening to it the other day and its actually a pretty damn good album. Mumbo, Bip Bop, Love Is Strange, Wild Life all cracking tracks. Tomorrow & Dear Friend are exceptional songs IMO. If i had to pick my worse it would have to be Pipes of Peace. Apart from the title track and So Bad its pretty dross.

                    Sir Paul McCartney....Thank You!!

it's one of my favorite by wings. it's better than venus and mars, speed of sound and back to the egg IMO. its so raw and a lot of the songs are awesome. love is strange is one of wings' best... along with tomorrow and dear friend.

My least fav is Wings at the Speed of Sound. Probably close to them are Pipes of Peace, Macca 2, Memory Almost Full - basically I have judged it by the albums I hardly have the urge to play. I love my version of Macca 2 though! I'm not counting live, cover, soundtrack and classical releases. Wild Life just grows in my appreciation so things can change.

form your own opinion on Wildlife Herc, don't listen to anyone else's, critics and anti McCartney peeps would have you believe Macca hasn't done anything worthwhile since leaving that wee band for me Wildlife has some great Macca songs, if you manage to get the 93 digital remastered version, you'll get four bonus tracks to. 4 out of 10 is more than generous for McCARTNEY II.

I believe you're thinking of "Don't Let It Bring You Down," but that's from LONDON TOWN, not McCARTNEY II. Essentially Paul's re-write of "Greensleeves."

I think he's heard Summer's Day Song which is indeed from McCartneyII:

It is an excellent song. Could have been a fantastic one though. Sounds like a well advanced demo - although that is part of its charm. It would fit nicely on 'Low' by Bowie.

Is little ol' me enough? I like the tune a lot. This is probably my favourite from McCartneyII:
