Indeed! Hackneyed, maudlin, lowest denominator, paint by numbers message.... I care about the environment and do my small bit. I don't care for purile, chest beating rubbish like this song.

I usually agree with ya Audi, but this time, I have to disagree. I really love the song. I love Natasha Beddingfield as well, always have.... So I'm going to keep playing it. I would suggest to those who don't like it, to perhaps move on to something you like better? Off to play it again...
I agree with most of what you've said, but I'm wondering if you think you're going to change anyone's mind. You know that at least half of the people on this site will hate anything new that Paul does. A new song will make them cringe no matter whom he's working with or what it's about. At least half probably think climate change is a hoax. Somehow, the environment became a political issue, and as soon as you start talking politics, people stop listening and start screaming. Anyone in both camps is going to hate a song like this no matter what.
"love2travel" is probaby the most genuinely positive person I know online. How she puts up with my cynicism is beyond me. I go back n' forth on The Issue Formerly Known As Global Warming: While both proponents and deniers make strong arguments, I believe that man's carbon footprint is evident. There was a time that you could barely see the skyline in California. State-level, pro-environment laws changed that. And now, you can see it.

True, I just never can understand why (and this is not just Paul's music) you tube songs are loaded with such negative comments and fights, and people fighting each other over who is right! Just move on to something you like better...and then you can say something positive. Personally, and I think I've told Audi, I agree with his opinion on 99% of things. So I'm always surprised at the 1% Audi has almost the perfect opinion on things!!! and he's a really great guy too!

I can take it or leave it. .

Even if I became a transsexual, I would still lack the estrogen needed to endure such a sappy, trite, contrived, pandering piece of b.s. like "Love Song To The Earth."
-
If I backed up to a microphone and vented gas, it would have more artistic merit than Love Song To The Earth. And the gas emitted would be less harmful to the environment than the stink of the recording that passes for a song.
-
You win.
-
Let me see if I can top that...
-
...I would rather receive a lava enema than listen to "Love Song To Earth."
-
Geez, you guys and your silly over the top alternatives. It's just not helpful. Now, back to my rancid yak vomit latte......
-
It is possible to make a half-decent 'lets save the planet, guys?' type record but 'LSTTE' isn't one of them. This is one of the better ones though.
