New song featuring Paul, "Love Song to the Earth"
-
It is a beautiful sentiment. Anything to help the earth is a good thing. But I don't think I could really hear Paul. It would have been better if maybe they all somehow were more "together" sounding.

Where can I hear it? I haven't iTunes

Paul sings the second bit of the first verse after the female at the start.. he also does the harmony to the first chorus and the second verse!

I agree with the sentiment and the cause, but it's just not a great song. Would have been better with fewer singers. It's not very satisfying to hear anyone singing for only a few seconds. But it is definitely better than Lenny Kravitz's all-star "Give Peace A Chance" in the early '90s!

Doesn't he come in at about 1:20?

As far as group charity songs go, this one is actually pretty good. My only quip is that the title / chorus is a bit corny. they could have come up with a better line. But the female voices on the song are amazing. I like the hip hop element in the song. It's great to see Fergie back.

I can respect an artist (or anyone, for that matter) standing up for what they believe in, even if I don't agree. But this does not excite me, as a fan of Paul's music. However, I do understand why he did it.

Does he? I walked out at 0:20

Hideous. We heard McCartney pitch corrected on almost every official release since ?Good Evening Auto-Tune City?, but butchered beyond being recognisable??! And I only mention his feature because the song, production-wise and composition-wise, is an absolute turd.

[..] And the other guy sounds like Kanye (rapping)
No, he doesn't at all... That's Sean Paul, lol. A thick Jamaican accent doing a dancehall bit. Kanye West wouldn't touch this with a ten-foot pole. Quality control McCartney seemed to have completely lost these days...

Sorry for my "ignorance" but I have no clue about rappers! We must agree to disagree about the song.

Stick a "c" in front of rappers, Nance. It all becomes crystal clear.

I copy paste all the time across the boards, the usernames should've gave away a hint ages ago, haha.

Oh I've been aware for ages. I enjoy your work: don't always agree but that's normal.

The original YouTube link has been taken down, but Rolling Stone has now posted the official video: http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/hear-mccartney-bon-jovi-fergie-team-for-love-song-to-the-earth-20150908 I still can't hear Paul, though. But it's nice to see Jane Goodall make a brief appearance near the end. She's a genuine hero.

I recognized Paul's voice and Sheryl Crow. Otherwise, it might as well have been people shouting in traffic.
