It is Nancy who is not wearing her ring in the one photo, but is in the other (you said "his finger" but maybe you meant to say "her finger.") And Paul is holding a black shopping bag that probably contains one of the items she later changed in to. Or maybe something else, who knows?
The hole in the jeans is "high fashion!" They are sold that way. I would never buy, certainly not at age 61!
61?
I have blue jean shorts with holes in them!

I assume you mean on purpose. To each their own. I never liked the "style."

They're just beautiful.
However, I had the impression that Mr. McCartney looked tired. -

Yes I agree with you. It's weird without the socks. It doesn't look like him. I just hope Mr. McCartney is doing well. He worries me.

Sorry, but they are wrong. I can zoom in tightly on my iPad and the bottoms are smooth and not turned up.
This pic has more sun on it and easier to see: (what the British call "turned up" may mean "cuffed" to us - they kind of look like they are cuffed)
-
I can zoom in too. I also can crop & lighten the pic.

So do they look cuffed to you? The do to me. At any rate, imo they're too short.

^ yep, there's something there. But I much prefer the other end of the body!

Yes, definitely London (or possibly Liverpool if he is at the LIPA).
He no doubt has a lot going on now with upcoming projects. There's probably a lot of preparations for his McCartney documentary, not to mention the Beatles Let it Be production, as well as his two upcoming books (his autobiography through lyrics and the Hey Granddude sequel). Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like all the preparations for these things are centered in London, I believe his book publisher is there.
