SgtPepperFan48:
Would it be the day of the concert or the day after that a boardie meet up would happen if it were organised?
The day of the concert would probably suit best as a few people may have to travel home after the concert (either that night or early the next day) xxxxx

That makes sense! it'd be cool for us boardies to have lunch or go to a pub or something. I'm not familiar with Liverpool though so don't know any restaurants/bars there really.

As I said up thread, there are lots of bars and restaurants at the Albert Dock which is five minutes walk from the Arena: http://www.albertdock.com/food-drink/restaurants-bars/

Yes, duly noted but I'm sure a few people would like to visit The Cavern

I'd rather us drink in pubs the Beatles used back in the day rather then the sanitised bars on Albert Dock but that just me I'll go with the flow

We could do both, NoWords keep everybody happy xxxxx

I have one question.. I was at various concerts in Austria, Italy , but no in GB. Every time before starting gig , in front stadium I saw peoples who seel thicket although thath concert was sold out. What is the situation in England with dealers ticket ? I have plan to go to Liverpool but I dont have yet ticket, ticket on some service on internet today are very exspensive. Is there any chance to found some people in front Echo Arena that day who sell ticket approximately normal price ? Sorry for my bad English , thank you

Okay boardies--I am going to Paul's Liverpool sound check/concert. I have been emailing Jackie Spencer who is an awesome Beatles sites guide. She has me penciled in for a private tour on Friday May 29. She charges per tour, not per person--so--if anyone is interested in a really in-depth Liverpool Beatles tour (meet the Best family--see the Casbah, etc.)let me know--the more people we get the cheaper it will be per person. Here's her website link: http://beatleguides.weebly.com/ Austin 5/22/13 Sound check! Austin 5/23/13 Bonnaroo 6/14/13 & free Sound check Outside Lands 8/9/13 Jimmy Kimmel Hollywood Blvd. 9/23/13 Grammy Special Paul and Ringo 1/27/14 Ringo 7/11/14 San Diego Salt Lake City 8/7/14 Sound check! LA Dodger Stadium 8/10/14 Phoenix 8/12/14 San Diego 9/28/14 Sound check!

I'm in too, I just friended Jackie on facebook last week when another boardie gave me her name, I'll ask her to add me to your tour. Are you signing up for the national trust tour of John and Pauls homes they grew up in?

That would be amazing xxxxx

Yep--she suggested I sign up now so I'm going on the Wednesday @ 2:15pm--just in case I'm too jet-lagged for the earlier ones!! : And here's the link for that: http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/beatles-childhood-homes/ It's about $37.50 USD and they don't do them everyday--so it will pay to research the days/times and pre-book since so many Beatles people will be in town! Getting excited!!!
