Hey just as I'd given up I saw the thread for 02 priority. I signed up for that as I'm on 02 through work. Went on and got a seat on the floor level at the 02 in London. Have to go to London obviously live in Blackpool but what the heck it will a great weekend away. Good luck to all those trying for tickets one day hopefully the scalpers will be defeated. Can't wait for May now. _________________

Super, congratulations!

Parabéns VIP tickets or normal ones? Section A is great.
Obrigado! I got one of the normal tickets. Section A was the only one available on the floor, so I grabbed it immediately. Are you going to try again during the regular sale?

The site now says: "General sale starts Monday 9 March 10am. Priority booking starts Sunday 8 March 10am" Have I missed something? Is there another kind of priority sale tomorrow?
Yes, on the Echo Arena website
Is it open access or do we need registration? I hope it's not the latter as I unsubbed from the Arena site only last week when I had an email clear out!
I believe you had to be subscribed to the Echo website before 2pm yesterday. I wonder what sort of tickets they will be selling off on their presale, like where abouts in the arena?

Yeah that's correct, as stated in this article: http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/whats-on/music-nightlife-news/paul-mccartney-liverpool-tickets-how-8784786 I wonder if codes will get out on online forums or if codes will be unique to each subscriber.

They send you an email with a link to the pre sale,on the left hand side there's a box where you put the code which is MACCA and it will then let you through to try and book tickets My tip is when you have the email click the link early on tomorrow morning so you can get to the page where the tickets are, though of course it wont let you buy them till 10am you'll have a bit of a jump start on the crowds that will surely come. I have on many occasions bought from the arena this way and i still get chills about the last time Paul played the arena the site absolutly melted down ive never seen anything like that before on that site so be prepared i got my tickets that time back in 2011 2 hours after they went on sale so stick with it is all i can say. Good luck tomorrow be patient the site after it crashes(and it will) it will come back up and you will get another chance to get tickets then. Good luck to you a all.

Ended up getting 2 decent seats for Birmingham. Will try again in the morning on the Echo Arena Pre-Sale as I registered yesterday morning. If I do get any then the 2 Birmingham tickets will possibly be sold - Face Value.

No, I'm in the same boat. I only needed one ticket so I shouldn't do too bad.

No, there was no option to select a seat with the VIP packages that I saw, either. I have never done VIP in the UK/Europe, but as I recall reading about from others who have, this is sometimes how it is done; you cannot select your seat. When they get their allotment from the promoter, then you get your seat assignment/tickets. It is quite annoying not to know where you are sitting after paying all that $. Tho I do remember this happening back in 1990 when we bought tickets to see Paul in London; one of the ticket agencies (legit seller) did not know where the seats were when we made our purchase (over the phone - Dinosaur Ages :cool nd we didn't find out where we were sitting until we got the tickets.

Thanks-it's nice to know that I'm not alone in my confusion. --I guess I'm spoiled with my 3rd or 4th row (right in front of Paul) seats that I usually score in the US. I need to focus on the fact that I'm going to see Paul play in his hometown--WOO HOO!! Now to plan the rest of my UK trip!! Austin 5/22/13 Sound check! It's a dream come true for me as well. I have always wanted to go to one of Paul's EU/UK concerts, but I never expected the first one would be in Liverpool!

Carlos, have you been to Liverpool before? If not you will have a wonderful time! Take the Beatles taxi tour too!
