If anyone has the sound check set list, could you post it, please? I was there but I can't remember, never bring a pen and people back home are asking about it. Thanks so much! ops: BTW it was a fantastic night! The Liverpool crowd was on it's feet pretty much the entire show and with good reason. Paul was in great voice, except when he got choked up after TLAWR, when his voice cracked with emotion during the next two songs. I think it was a very emotional night for everyone.
I didn't write it down either! However, I know someone who did, so here you go: Paul McCartney soundcheck set list Liverpool 28th May 2015 Paul on Les Paul guitar ? ?Honey Don?t?, ?Blue Suede Shoes? (slow version) Paul on Hofner bass ? ?Flaming Pie?, ?Get Back?, ?Penny Lane? (with false start) Paul playing piano ? ?C Moon?, then a slow instrumental with one verse of vocal ? possible new song, ?Let ?Em In? Paul playing acoustic guitar ? ?Alligator? ? requested by fan, ?It?s So Easy? (Buddy Holly?s song), ?Every Night? Paul playing 12-string guitar ? ?Midnight Special? Paul playing ukulele ? ?Ram On? Paul playing Red Rose Speedway acoustic guitar, restrung right-handed ? ?Bluebird? Paul playing synth ? ?Lady Madonna? ? he said he didn?t have to test the synth, he just liked playing around with it! We both had a fantastic time - still recovering!!
Hiya, do you happen to know anyone who wrote down the setlist for the soundcheck for the 2nd london show? Me and my sister were there - but didn't write it down assuming others would post it online (doh!) but we've realised we're forgetful and can't remember the order now!! So anyone know (yes i know this is the liverpool thread! Just hoping some regular peeps may know it!)

Thank you Oobu I did a soundcheck in 2011 but this one was much more enjoyable - maybe cos we were closer (row 25 rather than row 40 odd) and Paul talked a lot, and it was just amazing And the gigs were wonderful, all 4, just wonderful... i love him!!!!

No Mull or Penny Lane? Are you ****ing kidding me?
Liverpool isn't in Scotland
I find it ridiculous he will only play Mull in Scotland or where there are large Scottish populations. I'm Latino and I love that song!
He played Mull of Kintyre at the Liverpool gig in December 2011.
And at the 02 Arena, December 2009. But yes, I wish he played it more often.

Loved hearing the gig but didn't see a thing as the guy in front of me was so tall and big I could not see even the screens. The folk around me were boring as anything and just standing there not seeming to enjoy the show and that annoyed me. Never been so far back for a Paul gig but hving been frozen out of 3 different presales I just took the best ticket I could find a few weeks down the line when more were released.

Am I asking too much if I wish see him again in Liverpool !!!!! Maybe next year ?

Since it was three and a half years between Liverpool gigs, I can't really see him returning to the city for a show next year. He did say, as he always does, "See you next time!" at the end of the show, but this doesn't necessarily mean Liverpool - just "out there" somewhere.

For mine Liverpool 2011 was much better. (Actually Manchester 2011) was probably the best of them all.

He also plays Mull at Canadian gigs, too.
yes he does. I have seen Mull probably 9 times and always in either Scotland or Canada. I wasn't expecting to hear it in Liverpool even tho I know he had played it there before. and he DID play Penny Lane -- at Liverpool soundcheck. agree he could have easily included it in the regular setlist for the night.

Uploaded 'Another Girl'.Didn't have much time for any reports or uploads, but here's another one, freshly uploaded. 'Hope For The Future':
I highly disagree it's a low point in the set. It's perfectly placed, and it works very well. -
Okay, tiny bit then: That first encore was by far my favourite encore I've ever seen from him. Didn't know the setlist changes from the previous UK tour gigs that week, so when he brought back 'Got To Get You Into My Life' early in the set, ONCE AGAIN, and there was no sign of any of the recent added songs, I was a tiny bit baffled about his decisions. And then, when I expected the usual predictable and well-worn 'Day Tripper'/'Get Back'/'I Saw Her Standing There' etc. drone... BOOM: 'Another Girl'/'Hi Hi Hi'/'Can't Buy Me Love'. Completely fresh, everything I hoped for, overwhelming.

Nice. I'm stealing it & posting it over in the picture thread. editing to add......Whomever is editing posts needs to learn that all you need to do is remove the "img" from before & after the picture & then the rest of the post would stay intact.
