Bass players? Free lesson and tabs from Paul McCartney himself
I wish he'd do a tutorial on "Distractions." There are a couple of parts on there I'm trying to figure out.
Which parts?

Going back and listening to it, 02:44-02:49 isn't as difficult as I'd thought. Smooth track, eh?

I like the song a lot - and sometimes play it on an electric piano...I'll have to break it back out (and probably even relearn it) again...LOL

I'm impressed! Not the easiest song to play.

i want to make sure that all the people will watch this video,it's from Paul's official chanel and it's about his new album. Can you tell me if the opening track is from the album cause it is beautiful,it's so nostalgic tha makes me cry ,here is the video
-
Hi Herc, if I'm not mistaken - the first song is Only Our Hearts, which is the last song on the album and was penned by Paul. It also includes a great harmonica solo from Stevie Wonder..
-
If you listen the of rest album's songs probably you will keep crying, because is the style of songs, are a little sad, but if you put atention to the lyrics you will love it, they are very delicate, like the world on fourties. The video shows one Paul like the man looks in those years, his clothes and the b&w's photos are perfect for to create the atmosfera.

One video - two blasts from the past:

Hi all - big Paul fan here. I am wondering if there is a video out there anywhere of paul performing 'maybe i'm amazed' on any of the 1989/1990 tours. I am certain he did not play it on every gig, only on a few. Thanks so much.

Actually he played it during the entire first leg of that tour - from Oslo, Norway to New York City (Madison Sq Garden)...starting from Sept through Dec of 1989 He came back from his Christmas break with vocal issues...I'm not sure if it was dropped immediately becuase of that or if he performed it a few times and figured he couldn't handle it at that time (it was gone by the time he hit Worcester, MA in Feb of 1990, which was the next time I had seen Paul after his December Madison Sq gigs)
