2: That was the most amazing Set list!!! NEW sounded awesome!!! They all did... What a wonderful teaser for the album !!!
-
It was good. Loved new songs. I'm guessing that he is going to do the same set for Monday or plus few more songs. I wish he could sing "Band on the run" instead of "Let Me Roll It" or MMT.
-
well I dig the new songs!!!! surprised loved em... surprise no day tripper --or PBW!!!
-
Well, I think we can say without fear of contradiction that Paul kicked a** tonight. The new songs sounded great. I think it's a safe bet that one of the other new songs he played tonight will be the followup single when the time comes. I think my money is on "Save Us," but I might be wrong. I do wish all Paul's shows had this balance between Beatles, Wings, and solo/new material.

Hard pressed to say which of the new three songs I like best, they all grabbed me. Of course, New isn't quite so new now, having hit the web a few weeks back. Everybody Out There probably my fave.

Great googly moogly, I loved every single one of the new songs done live. The band was tight, and Paul was simply perfection. I couldn't have asked for more. Plus, I loved the new ever changing colorful "new" logo on the drum.

I'm a huge Paul Mccartney fan and I'm shocked that someone would post that on this board. Paul has married two Jewish women, his kids are half Jewish and I just don't know why one of Paul's fans who is all for peace and Love would even say that. You should be ashamed for even bringing something like that up

Magical Mystery Tour Save Us (New) Let Me Roll It - Foxy Lady Everybody Out There (New) Another Day New Lady Madonna Live & Let Die

That was great!!!! Loved seeing and hearing Paul and the band. Wonder if it will be on YouTube? I'd love to see/hear it again.

Thanks! I only caught Foxy Lady on. bummed I missed Save Us!

The new songs were the highlights for me. And that was point, right?

Bruce M. I was referring to love2travels post by the way. It's a few posts up. I would hope they remove that it has no place on here.

John Mackintosh:
Live and Let Die went down very well. Great way to end it. Hard to tell how that audience was taking it in, they all seem on the very young side and look sort of lost on some of the numbers.
Agreed. They didn't seem to come alive until Lady Madonna. By the time Live and Let Die came around Paul and Abe were entertaining themselves, what with Abe making faces, Paul trying not to laugh.
-
Wow, that was fun! The band sounded good, I liked hearing the new songs--"New" sounded especially good. And "Live and Let Die" is always a treat!! And I will be the first to say that Paul looked mighty handsome and Brian and Rusty looked so good in their nice black suits and Abe and Wix in their black shirts--they "clean up" really nicely!! Very sort of Beatley to match like that! Can't wait until Monday!!

Exactly! Hopefully this will help convince radio programmers to play the new material, and the gazillions of people watching/listening to buy the album.
