The Song Everyone Loves........But You .
-
I gather this is for songs that are universally liked but your not a fan of. To be completely honest there isn't anything that I can think of apart from Maybe House of Wax that a lot of fans seem to love.
-
Waterfalls & Motor Of Love - yikes!~
-
The Back Seat of My Car Let Me Roll It Warm and Beautiful I'd take pretty much anything from "Chaos" or MAF over any of these, by a mile.

Backseat of my car is great..

Coming Up ( never liked it - methinks it gained it popularity because of the John thing) Waterfalls ( a total bore-fest, some of you guys may not know this, on its release it was being compared to Hey Jude) for the most I love 96% of Paul's work (studio albums) - I should add most of his duets are cringe worthy. Heal The Pain with GM is quite a good song but when they both sing Happeeeee I'm like that's horrible !! I did think both their vocals worked well together tho. A Friend Like You with Brian Wilson - yuck!!

Although I am a fan of Coming Up, I have often thought that it was because of the John thing that is has more of a following and probably what makes Paul play it quite often. Heal the Pain - I actually thought Paul's vocal on this was excellent, had some of those sweet tones and sounded quite young. Of the duets that are excellent are the unreleased McManus demos. Fandabbydozy!

I with you on practically everything you've said here mate - his vocal was excellent, it was the Happeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee which spoils quite a good song for me lol oh yeah - deffo - his duets/collaborations with Costello are by far the best.

I don't care for his duets. Gimme Macca alone anyday...haha...

Yeah, give me Macca alone anyday too! ops:

I've always liked Say Say Say. The other duets he did were rubbish but Say Say Say is a great little pop song and nifty video. (Bring on the MJ bashers!) Anyone else notice that the Say Say Say video has more than 2o million views on YouTube.

The songs everyone loves but me....hmm... Beatles -Eleanor Rigby That's really the only one. Why is this so well-received? I don't get it. Wings -Big Barn Bed (I feel like all the big Wings fans like this...but I don't.) -Junior's Farm (I don't hate it, but can't say I'm a huge fan.) -Beware My Love (read above...) -Let Em In Solo -Waterfalls -Off The Ground -Only Mama Knows and...everything ever released under the name the fireman...with very minimal exceptions from "Electric Arguments".

Eleanor Rigby is revolutionary for its time and the lyrics are superb. The fact you have a 24 year old man talking about death and lonlieness. It's been played to death I would say but a fantastic piece of music.
