Kinda cool, eh? I imagine they are doing the same thing in other cities!
-
I like it! Are they doing the telephone booth this year or just the street signs?
-
ONE MORE DAY peeps!
-
Can't wait to see Paul! Anyone meeting up before hand for a drink? Or is there anywhere cool /good to go to before?

A restaurant just a block or 2 south of the arena is having a Paul Pre-Party . . .Buzzard Billy's. That might be fun I'm local but haven't really heard of any scheduled meet-ups. I'm doing soundcheck so will be inside pretty early. I'm sure there will be plenty of folks walking around the arena and doing limo watch! Have fun and enjoy the show!!

I'll be a first-timer at tonight's show. A couple questions: I assume there is no opening act. Correct? Does Paul take the stage right at 8:00, or is it 20-30 min after show time, like every other musician? Thanks.

No opening act but I believe there will be a DJ spinning some tunes starting around 8. Paul usually takes the stage closer to 8:30. Someone who's been to some shows on this tour - correct me if I'm wrong there. Just a word of advice . . .Paul in DsM is big . . .get there early (like right when the doors open) particularly if you want to look at merch at all. When he played here in 2005, the merch lines were miles long. That was one of the first shows at Wells Fargo so perhaps they've fixed that issue by now altho I've been to quite a few shows there and merch areas are always congested. Maybe it's just me, but I always like to get to my seat rather early and just "take it all in"

DJ Chris starts sometime after 7 pm. Am never sure when because he is always on already when I go to my seat. . When they are on schedule, he finishes at around 8 pm and the film strip thing of music and spinning pictures begins. That is around 30 minutes long. Paul takes the stage after that...around 8:30. However....in Duluth...DJ Chris finished at 7:45 and the spinning pictures started immediately. Paul took the stage at 8:15. So to be safe, get to your seat by 8:00 just in case they are early again.

Have fun tonight, guys, will be thinking of you all, and wishing you the best! Thought of something that might be helpful.... when I brought my sign into the arena at Wichita, I thought it had to be collapsible (folded), from the instructions given on the arena site... but when I got there, the security guard at check in said "Next time roll your sign, don't fold it." (which was opposite of what the website rules were...). Anyway, just thought if you want to check with the security office at the arena first, it will save you from folding up your sign, and having creases on it It is good to get there as early as possible and see the spinning pictures.... one of my favorite parts of the entire concert experience Have a great night, and can't wait to read your reports

I can hardly wait to see Paul tonight in the city where I grew up. No sound check, it's too hot for limo watch and not taking any signs. If merch lines are too long, I will pass. Just want to enjoy myself.

Have a great time Linda - I hope your seat is a good one. I am taking a sign . . .I can't resist being that close and not! I get very few tries at this! But I would have to skip limo watch if I wasn't doing s/c . . .it's brutal out there already and the sun is only out part of the time If I don't run into you - I WILL honor that request that you had to the best of my ability! Is your cell # the same as when you were at Lincoln?

If I don't run into you - I WILL honor that request that you had to the best of my ability! Is your cell # the same as when you were at Lincoln? Yes it is and I thank you. My friend is already out there for limo watch. First one. No way am I doing that in this heat and humidity. If I did the limo watch, I would get heat stroke and not make it to the concert. I am going to the concert.

My seat is not where a sign could be read. You know I took one to Lincoln and I have many times when I was close enough. My sign made the big screen when Paul was here in 2005. I've had many shout outs for my rather simple hand drawn signs over the years and finger points. That makes me happy.

I hope you have a good time maccascruff!

Hope your friend has fun at the limo watch! Understand your concerns about the heat. It was unbearable in Wichita two days ago, during limo watch there. I have a really bad sunburn, but feel it was worth it Know you'll have lots of fun at the concert tonight!
