Paul's official site says "super doorsy" whatever the heck that is! http://www.paulmccartney.com/albums/songs/monkberry-moon-delight But, it sounds like "super dooray" to me, which is what is written in the RAM songbook. http://vk.com/doc13818497_109727328?hash=8ff72235c889221be7&dl=f9d592cd260198dd3e
Can not you see that on the official website a clear mistake? This text is reprinted from the songbook "RAM" 1971. It says "Super dooray". The letters A and S on the keyboard are close. Just missed the mark when printed. There is another mistake - the beginning of the second verse is missing "Well I". This is due to the fact that both are couplet on page 19, and "Well I" - page 23.
Yes I can see that! I was just stating the facts.

And in this version (no music) you can clearly hear what he sings. "Billy Budapest" not "Phyllis" etc.
Sander1311, did you listen to this?

Oh sure. I gave the link here. I hear "Billy Budapest". I can not hear "Phyllis". "Phyllis Budapest" sings Jay Hawkins. He sings as in the songbook RAM. But not quite. For example, he sings: "of an enemy's hose". The PAM songbook - "with my head in this hole", etc.

By the way, anybody can say that Jay Hawkins says at the end of the song? What phrases he cries? Our translators can not make out the words.

:He says: She got two left feet One blacked out eye in the center of her bald-headed forehead She's walkin' in neutral, drinking Monkberry Moon Delight Why you look at me with seven brown eyes?

Thank you! Wow, what a nonsense! And in the song a lot of differences from the songbook RAM? And a lot of differences from what Paul sings? :

You're welcome! And yes, many differences.

Hello! I see that in my absence the topic died. And the main question and the answer is no. Have not figured out why so many official texts of this song. It's a pity. Or Sir Paul did several times to change the text, or it is simply irresponsible to publish their works. One out of two.
