Awesome belt buckle! Well done with the posting of your picture!
Does anyone know the story behind these belt buckles they are numberd on the back and the only other one I've seen was worn by Denny Laine or it was similar
Hi Gary, Looking at your photo, it appears that your buckle has a pewter tone, although I do see what seems to be a brassy undertone on the right wing. I am wondering if this appearance is simply due to the lighting at the time the picture was taken or is there some sort of plating on the buckle? The reason I ask is that the original buckles were solid brass. You have not posted a picture of the back side of the buckle. If original, on the back, the following should be stamped: Taiwan R.O.C. (R.O.C. was dropped from the Taiwan stamp in 1979). Also stamped should be the number 845. This solid brass buckle was made by Baron Buckles and marketed in the 1970s. The going price back in the day was $5. - $6. The going rate now is $50. - $65. I have seen several examples of Wings belt buckles with this model being the only one made of solid brass. Anita

My new Wings belt buckle how do I load a photo
Hi Gary, Upload your image to a hosting site such as Photobucket, ImageShack, Flickr, etc. Copy your uploaded image link from the hosting site. You may post the direct link here or click the Img tab (found at the top of your reply box) to wrap around your image link. We have become fairly flexible with the requested image size limit which is set at 300 x 300. However, if the image is very large, distorting the format of the thread (particularly width), the moderating team will link the image. Should you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me or any member of the moderating team. Looking forward to seeing your Wings belt buckle! Anita
The photo that you are currently linking is very large. You will need to downsize to post the image. http://maccaboard.paulmccartney.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=614741#614741 Anita

I was talking about the IMG link on your photobucket page there (on the right under "Share Links") Just left click on the IMG link to copy, and then once you are in your post (like I am now) you right click and then left click 0n paste.

I rarely buy Beatles stuff anymore, but since I'm on a solo-McCartney vinyl kick, I decided to buy the 2009 remastered Sgt. Pepper at a national bookstore retailer today.
