The lineup on "Girls' School" is just as you listed: Paul, Linda, Denny, Joe, and Jimmy. "Girls' School" was recorded in early '77 (February/March). Joe and Jimmy left Wings in September '77.

Another of the songs that I "hear live". There's such endless potential in his live repertoire. Think of a concert where he left out all the ballads, the pop songs and the little bit of everything for everyone and played only the rockers like "Girls' School".

Such a concert would be insufferably boring. What keeps Paul's shows interesting for 3 hours is the variety.

The lineup on "Girls' School" is just as you listed: Paul, Linda, Denny, Joe, and Jimmy. "Girls' School" was recorded in early '77 (February/March). Joe and Jimmy left Wings in September '77.
It seems that Girl's School was mainly recorded at Abbey Road in March 1977, and finished off on Paul's Scottish farm the following August. Not sure who played what although the line-up and instruments played looks quite likely.

Puh-leeze. An all rockers concert would, at least for me, stop being fun about an hour in. There's a reason I'm a Paul fan and not a Metallica fan.

I think McCartney's rockers are quite funny. And inspired by a lot of different genres from rockabilly to punk and heavy. I think it would have been possible to put together a rocking setlist. Perhaps an exclusive concert (s)... as the Caven Club show he did in 1999. So, if no one else will go ... just fine, then there will be more space-to me.

Well, I just saw on Facebook that he's hauled out "Temporary Secretary"! Just played it at the O2 Arena in London. (Watched the video and listened to it.) OMG! I so totally hate that atrocity. Please don't bring it here, Paul.
