There is a terrific Irish pub (yes, in Paris!) called Paddy Whacks at 4 blvd Anatole France a short 5 minute walk and within sight of the Stade which would make for a great pre-concert gathering spot for board members if anyone is interested. Let me know so I can tell the manager how many to expect.
i'm OK for the meeting but at what time ?
A few of us plan on getting there around 1500h so those who are going to sound check can stop by for a bit, too!

Hi Mary, We are going to the soundcheck. We just received our tickets (in London) yesterday, 29 May. Check-in is at 1530 hours. If the London O2 soundcheck is any guide, it will be about two hours until the actual soundcheck. It lasted a little under an hour. There is no hospitality in the soundcheck packages so you leave the venue and are on your own. (They did not scan our tickets for entry to the soundcheck, only when we came back for the actual show.) Bernie1cat is organizing a get-together before the show at Paddy Whacks, which looks to be about a 10-minute walk (back up northwest of the Metro Station) from the Stade de France. If timing holds from London, we should be finished with the soundcheck at about 1830 hours and then the show starts at 2000 hours. There is the same video from the other OUT THERE shows as the pre-show and Paul takes the stage about 30 minutes past the posted show time, i.e., circa 2030 hours for Paris. The show lasts three hours. Anyone research yet how late the Metro runs in Paris?
Most Metro lines end around 12:30 so if you need to make a RER or Metro connection at Gare du Nord or elsewhere it could be tight. Expect a crush for the RER and Metro after the show. From past experience (we just made the last Metro connection after the 2004 show staying near the Eiffel Tower) I doubt they would leave passengers stranded on the RER platform at the Stade so getting back to central Paris shouldn't be a problem but, again, getting the connections is the tricky part. Then, again, a midnight stroll in Paris in Spring along the Seine back to your hotel isn't the worst experience! And who knows...Maybe they will run certain main line trains later to accommodate the late rush. OK, enough rambling...Gotta finish packing for my flight tomorrow!

Thanks for the info on meeting time and the trains after the show, bernie1cat. Leaving for the Eurostar in a few hours. The forecast for the weather has gotten better and better since I started tracking it over last weekend, Hope to meet some Maccaboard members and, of course, enjoy a great show tomorrow!
