Wonder what time Paul will hit the stage? Ticket says 7:30 but I've read reports that he came on recently in Toronto around 9:00.

I'm thinking he'll come on stage around 8:50.. that's usually the standard time he comes out.. way over the start time it says on the tickets! Around 7:30 they'll probably start playing the preshow tunes while the audience fills in (which really isn't anything to worry about missing)

Yep, that's about right. The 30-minute preshow video screens will start around 8:15 or so, then Paul usually comes out at 8:45-ish.

What is the opinion about me making a sign...am I waisting my time?!! After all I do have a seat very far away from the stage..

When management at the Consol Energy Center was casting about for an act to open the new venue, there were many candidates for the role. There was talk of one of the New Jersey boys, Bruce Springsteen or Jon Bon Jovi, christening the Consol. Or perhaps a country star the likes of Kenny Chesney, or one with global appeal such as U2. Instead, they enlisted a performer whose achievements span more than half a century and transcend his art. When Paul McCartney and his band take the stage sometime after 7:30 p.m. Aug. 18, it will not only be the entertainment story of the year in Pittsburgh, but also a moment charged with history.

Does anybody know how to find out if cameras are allowed at the Pittsburgh show?

Small cameras with fixed lenses (point and shoot) are OK.

Hello everyone, Just wondering about seating inside the Consol Center. The only tickets I was able to get are Sec. 224, row E. On our tickets, it says rear limited view, I'm wondering if anyone knew if we'll be able to see Paul at all. I'm assuming there will be jumbo screens, but wasn't sure what our actual view would be. I'm happy to be in the same room with him though! Thanks!

Try the interactive seating chart to get an idea. http://www.seats3d.com/nhl/pittsburgh_penguins/?intcmpid=pens-3dseating-arenasite You at least should be able to see Rusty. If the view is poor you might try strolling about the concourse, which has an open view of the arena (at least for hockey games, we'll see if it is that way for the concert).
