^^ when they first got married they should have had a baby together. They weren't too old and I am sure Paul's family would have approved of it. It would have been a beautiful baby!
She was almost 52 when they got married!!! :

I meant when they first got together which would have been 2006-2007 or so. But actually before then. She was in her mid- 40's then.

They first got together in 2007 when both were still married (albeit both in the midst of divorcing) She was born Nov. 21, 1959, so she would have been 47 or close to 48 then!

^^ exactly. Same age I am now. I got pregnant naturally, and would have been fine if I had had proper care. If Nancy had wanted she certainly could afford proper care to have a baby. I was just stating that she was not too old, and not all mothers are supposed to be in their teens, twenties, thirties, etc... Janet Jackson is 50 years old and pregnant. There is such a double standard that older men can have children but not older women. Oh, does anyone have that great photo of Nancy in the Peacock dress from the BAFTA's? Love the Peacock theme there.

these two are beyond cute. (I love that Paul makes a face after they kiss, which we don't really see but he does something quick and Nancy makes a cute face because of it) I love seeing them together. They make such a nice couple. They seem so happy.
-
^ agreed. I think I posted that on a previous page. Gotta go look...

I just think there's too much risk after the age of 45 of having a Down's syndrome baby, let alone the fact that you'd be in your 60s when they graduated high school! "Proper care" would have been great, and I'm sorry you lost your baby, but there may have been another reason. Many many women with the best care in the world still have miscarriages.

Right I know about risks and appreciate your sympathies. Age has nothing to do with being a great parent. If an old man can have a child why not a woman? DNA degradation is found in men and women as they get older, but that is why there is genetic testing for those possible mutations. Did everyone know that scientific studies show children born to older parents are more intelligent than those born to youngish parents? True. I would be fine with being a sixty something year old Mom since I am eternally youthful in my mind and body and see plenty of old men out there with young children. Here is the Peacock dress I was asking for, I found it: Just gorgeous. If these two carried on an extramarital affair and no one complained why did this board jump my ass last year when I did the same. If it is okay for Sir Paul and Nancy then we should all be okay with it no? I exeunt stage left now...

In this pic they look like they are running to catch the bus!

"I would be fine with being a sixty something year old Mom since I am eternally youthful in my mind and body and see plenty of old men out there with young children" Actually I think it is unfair to the child to have a parent that old at birth. My goodness, you have a decent chance not to be alive when the child finishes HS. Plus, how many people that age have the energy to take care of a young child.

They did not have an extramarital affair. They were both separated and in the process of divorce when they started dating.

^^ right. I am not going to split hairs or argue with the nuns here on the board. This is Nancy's thread. Don't want to ruffle any feathers here. I won't post on this thread again. Just trying to give the Lady a compliment on her Peacock dress! And say she wasn't too old to have children. Geez. :
-
Forgot to mention that yesterday was Nancy's 57th birthday!
-
Wonder how they celebrated.
-
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Nancy! She's one classy lady.
