"Come and Get It" - Badfinger

I think he included the song to serve as a reminder to some of how much he has written and then other artists have recorded--Goodbye, On the Wings of a Nightingale, Step Inside Love, etc. Of course, like someone said, those of us in this message board bubble know and appreciate that and perhaps it left others puzzled. Beyond that, as a Beatles-era song it was part of that huge block of songs that make up his concert from that time, unfortunately at the expense of fine non-Beatles material. Just wish he had done it in Cincinnati, would have loved to hear it live.

During the later part of the "On The Run" tour in 2011, Paul added "Come and Get It" to the set list. I've seen a few videos of the song performed live on Youtube, however none of them had Paul mentioning Badfinger. Was wondering if anyone here who has seen him perform that song recalls him saying anything about the group? Thanks.
Funny thing about this song when I first heard it I swore it was the Beatles. Only later did I realize it really was a Beatles song, just given away.

He mentioned he'd wrote it for Badfinger when he did it at the MEN Arena in Manchester it sounded great that night too

I'm going to ask Joey Molland when I see him next March (on the Cruise for Beatles Fans) if he knows Paul sang it and if so what he thought.
