Hi Everyone, I was in attendance Sunday night in Vancouver and I need help with the last two songs played before Macca hit the stage. The first was a live Back in the USSR cover and the second was The End. I am wondering if anyone can help, I am looking to find video I could post to help me along. Any help is much appreciated.

Hi, I've added your query to this topic what contains the boards collective knowledge of the pre-show tracks. Paul's team do mix up the tracks played and used from time-to-time so your experience may need us to review known info and update it if needed. If you can get a YouTube clip of the tracks the Shaazam app. service is great at identifying artists and sources. Martin

Looking back through this topic: Booker T. & The MGs - The End. The whole pre-show was "captured" and posted to YouTube here:
That was in Mexico, track-listings have changed since as that went Hard Days Night then The End ...... Martin -

I did stumble upon this, this appears to potentially be the actual audio track played before Macca concerts, however missing Back in the USSR the one cover I am looking for. Enjoy.
-
And I have now found the cover of Back in the USSR currently playing just before The End.
-
Great find - hope he keeps it in the mix. Just in case Youtube's uploader removes the track this is it: "Chubby Checker's 1969 cover of the Beatles' "Back in the U.S.S.R." I can imagine that went down well as the excitement and anticipation rose at the show. And it will generate more now listeners know it means Paul's very close to appearing on stage. Martin

Found this. Would be great for the pre-show: Paul McCartney: "My Brave Face" 2012 Fan Remix:
-
So is it known who made the pre-show part? and is it by any chance available somewhere? Some fantastic remixes in it!
-
Hah, so no one here liked it? Or no one knows whose was it?
-
I am not sure, but like most DJs, the McCartney pre-show DJ probably draws from many sources, some available, but some may be music Paul himself made available just for the pre-show. I have not heard anywhere of that music being available in once collection or CD.
-
Definitely the best DJ/mix to date.
-
Yep, I loved it as well though a few on here were complaining about it in one of the show threads! Can't beat a good Macca mashup as far as I'm concerned.
-
We've had a few threads on it. One even named all the songs. I loved it!

Yes indeed, and by the magic of the internet, these posts now form part of that earlier topic This earlier posts links to the pre-show hosted on YouTube from the last tour in Mexico: http://maccaboard.paulmccartney.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=2637571#2637571 Martin

Here is Chris Holmes' whole set:

Thanks Martin. I couldn't find it with the search function.
-
Cool, thanks for the merge, and for all the links and info as well

I want to know who did the remix of Twist and Shout, absolutely love that one.
