Ok, hmmm... probably is April or May 1969 then. He must have really loved the cowboy shirt!

The photo dates from Sunday 28th July 1968 and is from the session that produced the Beatles 'Mad Day Out' publicity photos. The photo appears in the Beatles Anthology book on page 295.

Ok, thanks for correct info, Kestrel. Was thinking his hair looked "white albumish" but also looked like the last photoshoot too.

Apart from his scruffy period (November 1968 - February 1969...and then again late 1969), Paul didn't really change that much in looks during those years so it is sometimes difficult to narrow a particular photo down.

Yes, I was thinking that too. I always try to date a photo by a chronological timeline of his hairstyles:
1. Moptop
2. Sgt Pepper
3. White album to beginning with Linda
4. Dreamy Rooftop Beard
5. No beard - early marriage to Linda
6. Dreamy Beatles breakup beard
7. McCartney (I) /Wings & mullet
From time periods 3-5, he didn't change much (except for briefly having a beard) so photos are difficult to date, especially if Linda or the other Beatles aren't in a photo with him.

Leslie, here’s one where he’s almost “au natural”

Thanks, Nancy! He's such a cutie! There's been a lot of ice and snow where I live, so am really looking forward to swimsuit weather again!

Thanks for posting these, oobu! He's looking great, and love that he's wearing the Egypt Station logo on his coat.
-
The second one you posted, Oobu, is especially adorable. He's still got the same Beatle boy charm... and smile!
-
A Beatle boy is the furthest thing from my mind.
I want those shoes! Think they are custom made?
-
Just realized that I didn't post the ones with his shoes!
-
-
He’s now officially a “Silver Fox!” It sure was windy there yesterday!
Yeah - cool sneakers! (wouldn’t be surprised if they were custom made oobu)

Oh he may have matured, but I can still see the same cuteness he's always had, that will never change about him.
The shoes are interesting and colorful, I can't imagine him wearing any that aren't environmentally friendly, from non-animal sources.

Yes, thank goodness he matured! lol but no, I never think of him as a boy. The shoes are Nike so who knows what they are made of. And he did wear that goose down coat remember?
