The pictures with the dog ("Nipper", the HMV mascot) are from 1997; Paul did a record signing (Flaming Pie and Standing Stone) at the HMV store in Oxford Street on October 16th. It was two days after the Standing Stone premiere at the RAH.

oh, 1997. Thanks for that info.
Do you remember that commercial that he did? He bought some flowers (I think) & walked into a room where a woman was sleeping & he left a card on the nightstand. What was that for? OHOH! I just found it....JBL.

Yes, that is Linda’s horse. Yes, those pics with the RCA Victor dog were circa 2002. I don’t remember that commercial though.
More forearms: (July 28, 1968)
Thanks, Nancy! Another great "forearm pic"
Have always liked the "Paul in chains" photos, from the "Mad Day Out" sessions. Here's another one!

You need to just put your YouTube link in the link box, because the actual embedded video always disappears after 30 minutes.

Great hair. HM days? She had him wearing his hair different.
Yeah, when he was with HM his hair was a lot shorter... not sure if that was his choice, or she suggested it to him, but my favorite hairstyle of his is from the "Flowers in the Dirt" AND "My Brave Face" era... somehow this style is flattering to him because it's relaxed and comfortable, just how he likes to be, and having a bit of length at the back does make him look younger I think. It's essentially the same hairstyle he has now, except his sideburns are a bit longer, which isn't a bad look either!

That’s right, I forgot he cut his hair - was much longer in March when he was knighted.

Yes, I know about the box. I just forgot because you didn't have to do that before. You can also copy & paste. Do you remember the commercial?

LadyLeslie, please check your PMs.
June 18, 1967. Paul’s 25th birthday, being interviewed at his London home.

Yes, now I do! The girl in it looked a lot like Nancy.

Finally found this where you can read the button. Boy, I’m glad he gave up cigarettes!

When you wrote about the button, I thought you were referring to a newly discovered feature here at the Maccaboard
Wonder what that meant on the button "The Love of my Life" - was he referring to music?
He looks like a cute little bad boy with that cigarette hanging out of his mouth, but I'm glad he stopped smoking, too, so he can be with us for a lot longer
I remember hearing him say in an interview that he stopped smoking in the early 1980s - he said he had the flu at the time so it wasn't difficult to stop...

Leslie, I guess you missed where Calico Skies posted this pic for me showing the button up close. I knew I had a different one, just took me a day or two to find it!
And the button? I would hope Jane gave it to him. But with Paul, who knows? Lol!

Stopped smoking cigarettes...but kept his other smoking habit.

True
Oh the stories he could tell... if he could!

Thanks Nancy!
Will have to scroll back and look at the previous discussion. I googled about that pin, and someone posted on another site that they thought a fan sent that to Paul, but who knows! That was before he got seriously involved with Linda, so don't think he could have been confessing his love for her by wearing that....
In photo below, we can see that John also wore a button that evening, but can't make out what it said. I wondered what the other lapel (figurine) stood for, that Paul and John and Ringo have on their jackets... perhaps something to do with the historic first live satellite broadcast seen all over the world or something, not sure. Or maybe it's an early logo for Apple, kind of looks like the one MPL has now...
-
That sticker was the symbol for Our World, I believe. (The name of the satellite show) Yeah, I don’t know what John’s button said. Yes, I think a fan actually gave Paul that button.
Here’s a tired-looking Paul at the press conference in NYC May 14, 1968 where he and John discussed Apple. Linda was there and this was when she gave him her phone number.
-
Maybe he just spotted Linda and perked up a little!
-
He is definitely looking at Linda here, as I know she took this pic! May 19, 1967

I'm sure when he saw her at the press conference, he did perk up a little!
It's wonderful how he looked at her in this photo, was very sweet! It shows he must have been smitten with her from the very beginning!
