THAT was a lot easier than getting tickets for the first show! I got in right away & saw the tickets I wanted...done in 5 minutes!
Agreed - because they staggered the PM.com presale (9am) from the Amex (10am) Yeah - I wish the first show was easier but I got the price-point and area I wanted for three tickets to the first night (after an hour of refreshing and finally using the app)

MetalGod:
Welp - going to night number 2 - by myself - center stage upper level row 5. Glad I got the cheapest seats (minus the numerous fees)
Not sure what I am doing yet for night 2. I did not buy anything, and with the announcement of Seger playing a one-off I may just try for that show first. I will keep you posted on what happens!!

Count me in, I could get a "cheap" seat high on the side of the piano and since I had some extra $$ from a gift card I received I figured why not ... I have not missed a Detroit performance since 2002 and not going to start now!

I ended up getting rather lovely seats on "the Wix side" (Sec. 124, Row 9) this evening for the second night. The quality of what's available still (both in 100s and middle distance floor) should be encouraging to anyone who hasn't committed yet.

A federal lawsuit seeks to block some public funding of Little Caesars Arena in Detroit and a new Detroit Pistons headquarters without a vote from city residents. Red Wings Little Caesars Arena Work Tanya Moutzalias /The Grand Rapids Press via APRed Wings Little Caesars Arena Work Construction progresses on Little Caesars Arena in Detroit June 8, 2016. The lawsuit Thursday says Michigan law prohibits spending school property tax revenue on the projects because a tax voters approved in 2012 was to be used exclusively for Detroit's public schools. The arena, which will be home to the NHL's Detroit Red Wings and the NBA's Pistons, opens this fall. The lawsuit was filed by activist Robert Davis and D. Etta Wilcoxon, who is running for City Clerk. The Detroit Downtown Development Authority, a public entity involved in the project, says it will review the lawsuit and respond accordingly. The Ilitch family, which owns the Red Wings, is financing most of the project.

Less than a month to go at the new beautiful arena! First night with the family and the second night by myself.

Hi! I am thinking of making a last minute trip to Detroit for the 2 shows. Does anyone have a seat map which shows the seat numbers? Wondering how many seats across each of the front sections, and if seat #1 is near the center aisle or near the end of the row? Also any hotel suggestions nearby? I found one place that is about .8 mile from the arena, but the walking directions take you through Grand Circus Park- just wondering how safe it is to be walking there at night. Thanks for any info!

seats start from #1 to #12 (right to left) - for example for 200 levels ================================================ Virtual Map of arena: http://redwings.io-media.com/web/index.html

Are there any meet ups planned? Any recommendations for drinks and food before the shows?
-
the show snuck up on me I didn't realize how close it is until my boss put up next week's schedule and I was given my requested days off. (4 in a row....yeah) Row 12. here I come.

Has anyone got their emails yet about what time to get there for sound check? & what entrance etc ? Being a new arena & construction going on all around it, it may be a bit confusing around there !

Staying at Motor City Casino. Can you safely walk to concert from there ?

Anybody know the # of rows in each section on the floor ? I'm in Row 1 Section 6. How many rows in front of me ?

I'd worry more about walking back after the show. it'll probably be midnight
-
Call the hotel- I think they might have a shuttle to/from the venue.

You may be better off with Uber/Lyft/etc. But perhaps Motor City may have shuttles. Motor City is owned by the Illiches (whom own the Wings).
