It's a great year to be a Wings fan.

My first thought was "Wow they were actually able to get Joe to participate but he demanded a Bible be included"...the lock of hair and floorboard confirmed it wasn't real. Well done.

Here's some info I found: ?Rock Show? will be showing in theaters around the world starting in May, according to a new website, ahead of a yet-to-be announced DVD release. Al Sussman of Beatlefan magazine told Beatles Examiner Thursday he's learned that the film will be released on DVD separately from the much-anticipated ?Wings Over America? reissue that is coming and has been rumored for months, but has yet to be announced. There's been no release date announced for ?Rock Show? as of yet, though it's listed on Eagle Vision's page of upcoming new releases. The film screenings will begin shown May 15 in the UK and May 16 in the U.S. The theatrical versions will include a 12-minute interview with McCartney which will presumably be included in the DVD. . . . ?Rock Show,? first released in 1980, was shot on Paul McCartney and Wings' 1976 tour at four shows in New York, Seattle and Los Angeles. Portions were included on ?The McCartney Years? compilation that the former Beatle released in 2007, but the demand for the full release of the film has led to the film being reissued. There has also been speculation that the ?Wings Over America? deluxe CD package could include the tour film ?Wings Over the World,? a related 1979 TV film that was taken from the Seattle show from that 1976 tour. I thought the Pink Floyd Immersion box of The Wall was elaborate, but that deluxe set is really amazing! It's gotta be several hundred dollars. Any idea how much?

Thanks! He has a cool link there for those of you that have never seen it... Paul MCartney & Wings Rockshow 1976 Full Concert
I did a little spot checking and there was no 'Long and Winding Road' or 'My Love'...which means, this is from the home release, which had those and one or two other songs stripped compared to the theatrical release...from what I understand, the new reissue will indeed mirror the full theatrical release...

Were you referring to Mike Carrera's post? If so, that was a joke!

Inside sources have told Beatlefan that the formal announcement for the "Wings Over America" reissue will be coming in two weeks time, with the deluxe package weighing in at a whopping EIGHT LBS. The source indicated that "Rockshow" (which is also due for separate release) is included.

Found this on another site. Claims Wings Over America will be released on May 28th and Rockshow will not be released separately. Will be interesting to see what actually happens. http://wogew.blogspot.com.au/2013/03/wings-over-america-in-may.html

Rockshow will be included in the deluxe WOA reissue and also available on its own.

Here's a video I took of Denny tonight, talking about Paul and the WOA re-release, doing a funny, quick version of "Blackbird" and a snippet from "Oh Darling!" and "Here, There, and Everywhere": http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=10151554904371181&oid=521697477872735&saved

It is funny, I was thinking about the comment yesterday about Denny not mentioning WOA. Tonight I was at the show you were at, and he mentioned it tonight. Podgie (He was pretty proud of the release, very cool!) Monkey BTW, I have seen Denny several times over the years, and tonight's show was just brilliant! He was awesome! Quite a bit of jamming with the band, and so many hits. It was such a cool nostalgic time, that we almost expected Paul to just walk out and join him.

It's funny but he didn't mention WOA at Friday night's show at all, so I was glad when he mentioned it a few times, during the show and after. Very cool to hear, and I'm also glad that it will help remind folks how good of a musician Denny is, as well. He was really on fire last night, wasn't he? Lots of different songs than he played Friday, at least during his solo portion of the show. Just a great show, all around! I asked and they said they'd be doing more shows this summer, June-ish perhaps, but nothing has been set up yet. I definitely plan to catch them again! Great to see you there, by the way, along with L-Dawg.
