Linda, I figured it out and you were right. No need for any email confirm at all! I worried over nothing. Thanks!!

And none of us are paying members. Fletch, somebody just now got their email. You don't need it anyway, so chill.

Beale Street is very safe Kelly. It is crawling with cops. Friend of mine lives near there and has no problems getting around downtown at all. You will be perfectly safe!

So What is the general concenses of the Beale st area? I have heard some who are a bit afraid of the area. I have always wanted to hit the area and I just booked a hotel next to the arena, I am just curious if people feel safe late night there?
-
one thing to remember folks if you do not live here is to book your hotel rooms ASAP. Paulies concert happens to fall during the Memphis in May Sunset Symphony weekend, thus rooms may be difficult to get downtown
-
as far as sightseeing check out Graceland Sun Studios (a must for me) Rock & Soul Museum (right next to the Forum) Gibson Guitars (also next to the Forum) National Civil Rights Museum Those are just a few ideas.

good I missed the opportunity to meet you in St Louis as I was not feeling very well and I hope to be able to meet him there in Memphis, along with many others here.
I jokingly spoke for him ...he's still thinking about it, but he better be there!
-
Well I hope he makes it, Is it too early to say, Hey Fletch where is a good pre-party location?? LOL Glad we have a local..

Just got back from a Memphis trip yesterday and walked right past the FedEx Forum wondering if an announcement was coming soon, and sure enough! It's a cool venue, pretty new. I've seen a couple concerts there before. Macca should fit in nicely. Best part is the FedEx is right off of Beale Street! Post-concert night-life promises to be fun! So far I haven't heard anything about Chicago/Illinois, and only rumors of anything within a few hours of me, so I'm gonna go for Memphis!
-
It will either be very hot and muggy here or it will rain. It usually rains during Memphis in May. BTW if ya'll are downtown Saturday night May 25th you might want to check out the Sunset Symphony

I'm so there. Memphis is a city I've always wanted to visit, so I am going to have one hell of a memorial day weekend and not have to take much time off work. It's working out well.
Hopefully we'll have San Diego-like weather. Well, a person can dream.
-
Thanks for bailing me out!

Kelly, I am working on a pre show and post show get together right now. Have talked to a buddy of mine who is in a great British Invasion group. He is definitely interested and we are working on a venue. This may take some time. These guys are GREAT!!

You are right around the corner, literally, from the clubs on Beale Street. Definitely check out the clubs there. Some really great blues, rock, and soul music being played.

Is there a code for ticketmaster presale?
-
Just a quick question. When we purchase through the site, do we have to pay the fees? I think when I bought tickets for Wrigley 2 yrs ago I only had to pay the face value of the tickets, not any additional fees. Anybody know for sure? RamblinRed
-
Sounds great Fletch....
-
Just got my presale tickets. That was...an experience But quite excited! I know Beale St./Memphis is the home of the blues, but it's also the birthplace of rock 'n roll. Beale should go beatle that night!
-
Just shows N/A for fan pre-sale for Memphis???? Help!!!
-
Did you just keep clicking on "buy tickets". I am doing that with no luck.
-
After an hour still no luck. I thought they might not have known re daylight savings time but it is now after 1000 Central time and still nothing....
-
I had a terrible time just getting to the page I kept getting not in service message after taking forever just to get that. I finally went to the news page and it had a link with presale shows and a click here button so I did went straight in and got tickets, the worst experience I have ever had with Paul trying to get tickets and this will be my 15th show...terrible but hey after one hour I finally got them..May 26th Memphis on my Birthday I can not ask for anything else. I was disappointed to see ticket prices have gone up a little but it did not stop me.
