For some reason a few weeks ago I found myself watching something on the Jonas Brothers - a band of brothers affiliated with Disney. As I was watching, something looked pretty familiar...two of the band members were using the same guitars as Brian! Here's the photo of the Jonas Brothers: And here is Brian with the same guitars! (Photo of the Jonas Brothers found on Flickr and photos of Brian linked from his website) I just thought it was interesting...
-
Maybe they borrowed Brian's guitars ... Hopefully it won't be too ! long until we see Brian playing those guitars live on tour with Paul again .

Would be great, but Paul should avoid shaking hands with the current Hungarian PM.

It's a good job that music rises above politics, isn't it !

Well it's going to be a busy few days in Paris , With the Rugby World cup finals [ wonder if England will win ? ] AND .... Paul and the guys playing in Paris on monday I wonder if they'll play " Michelle " ? I bet it's going to be a great show
-
I didn't know the Rugby World Cup finals were this week! Then again, most people don't know what rugby IS here in the US. I bet they will play Michelle...people would be disappointed if they didn't! I can't remember - does Brian play bass or guitar on that one?

Yes , the Rugby world cup was last night ... but England lost !! to South Africa . Rugby is a big !! sport here in the UK . Funnily enough , it was played at the Stade de France stadium in Paris which was where i saw Paul and the band play on their summer 04 tour ..... and yes , they played " Michelle" then, which got a huge response from the crowd as you can imagine ! I'm not sure if Brian plays bass or guitar on that one ? We'll have to ask him !

At least England got to the final - Ireland didn't even get past the first round!! I hope the Paris show is fun tonight. I wish I could make it to one of them. You're going to the one in London aren't you Dawn? You'll have to write a review!

Yes Dawn, you must write a review. Are you allowed to take cameras inside?

Super quickly We thought cameras would be forbidden at the Olympia, as they usually are + they usually check at McCartney's concerts + we knew it was gonna be filmed and broadcasted on TV some people probably wanted their rights to be "exclusive". But! In the end they barely checked, no one cared when they saw a camera inside the venue. So you should try, you never know. (...but hide it, just in case... you never know!)

Hi Polochon, Thanks for the info . Nice to see you on this thread . I read your review of the Paris show on the other thread, you sound like you had a great time , but what a shame that after waiting all night out on the pavement , [ i bet it was cold !! ] that other people pushed in and got to the front !! That sounded fun that the floor was bouncing while you were all jumping to the music
-
You're welcome, it's normal and a pleasure... let's help each other between fans, damn! (...instead of pushing each other in order to pass everyone else, mwaaaahaha... or is it funny?) Yep yep the concert was most fun. I needed some time to decide weither it was more a "YES!!!" or a "but...", but finally I mainly remember the positive memories. And I was on Brian's side this time! I've been on Rusty's side twice, right in front of Paul twice, but had never been on Brian's side I like changing once in a while! Everyone has fun on stage at McCartney's concerts anyway. Though well... they didn't play so much with us this time, but maybe they had other things in mind as someone said in the other topic. It wasn't so cold actually... or -I- wasn't so cold I'm like never cold, or hot in warm summers, I'm quite lucky for that... But I also took a pullover for my body + one for my legs in case there would be wind + my coat + some old thing over my ears in order not to freeze if there was wind. So... I was prepared yeah. And wasn't cold at all in the end, really, even when the morning wind came (brrrr!! then I would have freezed without all my stuff)... I had also brought my sleeping bag, but strangely didn't use it after 4am, no one used their sleeping bags or blankets anymore after 4am actually... I wonder why?! (...hum...) But yeah the organisation was super bad I read a lot of people saying they arrived at 1am or something... and ended up getting their tickets with people who said they arrived at 7am or even after. Would it be because these persons pushed in and made their way through or because others in the front pushed in and made others go back the problem remains the same it was the worst organisation I have ever seen in my whole life. (some metal festival in Germany was -the- reference for bad organisation before... now there will be this concert!) And all venues should have a floor like that indeed! It was... Super Fun! I'd LOVE jumping at all concerts if they were, while I usually hate it! Bouncing Floors Forever! Forgot talking about photos, do you know if there is a topic dedicated to fans photos here? Or are they forbidden, as this is an "official forum"? I didn't take any photo at the Olympia (I had a feeling I would have a bad view? I thought taking my camera probably wouldn't be a good idea anyway...) but I have really nice old photos from 2003 and 2004. Most are not where I am living right now but some are scanned on this computer... not so great scans, but could be nice to share? ...and well, I don't really feel like opening a new topic for 3 or 4 years old photos...
