Mmh but mines are from Paul's 2003 and 2004 European tours, not the 2005 tour, while this topic/booklet seems to be dedicated to this 2005 tour, and this one only... would it be ok? ...I believe I subscribed to Flickr once, so it should be ok to post there, but... *have to remember the password, damn!*

I don't think we ever had a picture thread for the 2003 and 2004 tours. I'm sure nobody would mind if you added your photos to the existing thread.

Cor - does that thread still exist? http://flickr.com/groups/paul-us-2005/ So, yes you could link any Flickr uploads into that group. Flickr allows for very good image labelling so don't be shy to add Europe 2003 and 2004 images there as well. Other members might not know of the existance of the photo group on Flickr so this discusion will also give it a bit more publicity. Just out of interest Yahoo Photo's is being dropped by Yahoo and accounts merged with Flickr (also owned now by Yahoo) so some members may find they are able to link into that group easily when the account transfers are completed. I had a wonderful time at the Roundhouse show last night , and was lucky enough to be in the second row, so i had a great view ! Brian looked like he was really enjoying himself on stage, and sounded great , i loved "Get back" , which was the last song they played. One of my favourite songs of the night was definetly " Calico Skies" , as there was a small orchestra playing aswell on a few songs , along with Wix on the accordian , it had to be the most beautiful version of the song that i've ever heard . Elenor Rigby was another one that sounded amazing with the violins . The jam at the end of "I've got a feeling" was soooo good aswell ! It was a great show !

I'm soooooo glad you had such an awesome time, Dawn! I heard that jamming on BBC Radio2 last night! I was dancing along in the kitchen while listening to it.

That sounds amazing, Dawn - I'm so happy that you had such great seats! I would have loved to have heard Calico Skies. It's one of my favourite songs and I'm sure it sounded wonderful with the live violins! How long was the show?

It was all standing down stairs , and we were VERY !! squashed together ...lol So i know what a sardine in a can feels like now ! But it was fun ! The show was about 1 hour 40 mins , There's a live link on the BBC that's showing the whole show ... http://www.bbc.co.uk/electricproms/2007/media/nb/paulmccartney_16x9_nb.asx Have a listen to Calico Skies .... i'm sure you'll love it !

That's such an amazing thought , isn't it ! That people all over the world were listening to the show on the radio and internet , as it was being performed live !! [ and dancing in their kitchen ]

I'd no idea it was being broadcast live!! Thanks for the link - I'll check it out!

I tried to listen online during the show but I kept getting an error - "No DNS entry". Fiona, do you know what that means? Maybe it had something to do with my firewall. Dawn, thanks so much for the review! It sounds like a great show...wish I was there! Brian and the guys always look like they're having so much fun! I imagine the audience gets them excited too.

I didn't see this posted here earlier, but Brian is performing at this year's LoveRide in Pomona, CA. See here... http://www.loveride.com/entertainment.htm (This morning's L.A. Times listed Brian as one of the performers) From the home page: As for an opening act, Shokouh hinted at some big surprises in store for people who attend this year's Love Ride event, including special guests performing songs from the very first ?Friends of Love Ride 24? CD. This new compilation includes original songs by recording artists Andy Summers (The Police), Mick Fleetwood (Fleetwood Mac), Jackson Browne, Jeff Healey, and an all-star cast of others including: Robbie Krieger (The Doors), Todd Smallwood (Mick Fleetwood Band), Jack Mack (America's #1 Rock n? Soul band),Brian Ray (Paul McCartney), Too Slim and the Taildraggers (currently in Billboard's Top Ten), and more.

Thanks, jennywren! As long as Brian confirms this on his Myspace or website, I know where I'll be on Sunday, November 11!

Brian does play on the compilation CD, but he won't be performing at the LoveRide in Pomona. Rusty will be there, however.
