But isn't it the same as the dvd? Then you don't miss anything, Dawn!

it is the same as the DVD and basically all the US shows of last summer. Last night was an abbreviated version. "hey Jude" was trimmed, that kind of thing. And still really awesome because I noticed Bri running onstage on "Band on the Run" with this big jumbo 12-string and why in heck did I not notice that before at the gig? It sounded so silvery and great! I tweeted him asking him about it because I could not see what kinda guitar it was. I'm still lo-def no-def TV ops:

also, beforehand during the Charlie Brown special did anybody else notice that commercial for "how the Grinch stole Christmas?" They played the Monster Mash haha! It was like Brian was all over that TV last nite
-
Haha, thats pretty ironic...me and my grandmother were watching it last night and she was like, well now that paul's taken maybe I should try on brian
-
get in line gramma!
-
hahaha
-
I forgot the missing link! in btw the Grinch Monster Mash commercial and GENYC, Beyonce had a hour special before Paul and she played Etta James in "Cadillac Records." another link to Brian's' career kinda uncanny I thought. the omnipresent RAY
-
Yeah, he's everywhere! But nobody really knows it

Brian's latest blog ......... Dec 1 2009 Reflections on rehearsing for our European tour We've just finished our rehearsals in the south of England as we prepare for our European tour, our last of 2009. While we've been together for going on eight years, each time we get together, it's somehow different. We're reconvening from different paths even though it's been a short three and one half months since our last show in Dallas. We've each been busy with our own projects and our own lives. There's an understood sense of mutual respect that we all have in our collective energy that we bring to the table. In our own right, we have our own lives and creative projects, but when we walk into a venue to soundcheck and perform, we are a tight and cohesive group, still hungry and excited, focused on supporting Macca. This time, leaving friends and family right before Thanksgiving was hard. It's a day that's so American and so special because I have so much to give thanks for. As I was crossing the Atlantic, I realized that I was en route to connect with my other family: the band that I get to play a part in and in many ways celebrate our own day of thanks to our greater family at large: You, the fans who make this all possible. I hope you'll stay tuned to my blog and of course, posts on Twitter and Facebook as this end-of-the-year adventure unfolds.

Hope everyone going to the show in Hamburg tonight has a wonderful time !!! I bet it'll be a great show

Brian's latest blog .............. Dec 2 2009 Good Evening Europe - Next stop, Hamburg We're now getting ready to open our EU/UK tour in Hamburg tonight, which has a special historical significance in the historical context of The Beatles. When the band plays Beatles music, it takes me back, remembering that Hamburg is where the Beatles developed their musical skills and showmanship. The band members, Lennon, McCartney and Harrison were supported by Stuart Sutcliffe and Pete Best as part of the original group. Stu was the original bassist and Pete was the original drummer. They played 300 shows in a year there, honing their craft and getting the stamina and reputation that would lift them out of Liverpool and shoot them forward into all of our lives. Hey, are there any fans coming to our Hamburg or Berlin show who may have seen the original Beatles in the early sixties in Hamburg? If so, please share your story with me on Twitter or Facebook.
