Yeah that one caught my eye as well : , and is definitely 'on my list' of posts to respond to when I finally get time to catch up around here....probably late, late tonight : or tomorrow. Quick pop in for me........teacher conferences in a bit. Nah, I'm not expecting any 'surprises'. Hope everyone's okay........see y'all later!
I doubt that you can prove that porn is NOT good for your phsychological and physical health... But good luck with that.
yes, good luck with that, as Paul McCartney said to Noel Gallagher when Noel said he wanted Oasis to become a band better than the Beatles

Hey Angela. http://www.aftenposten.no/english/local/article633160.ece
Norway world leader in casual sex Seven out of ten Norwegians have had a random sex partner and the country is a world leader in one-night stands. At the same time they are among the least sexually satisfied citizens in the world, according to the latest findings in the Durex Global Sex Survey for 2003. Interviews of 150,000 people from 34 nations form the basis of the study released this week. The statistics provide a fascinating look into the different private habits around the world, and insight into what makes Norwegians warm all over. In terms of sheer numbers, Norway was about average with 124 sex sessions a year, well behind winners Hungary with an active 152. Satisfaction was worse for Norwegians, with only 62 percent saying they were content with their sex life, placing them as low as 29th on the list. Neighbor Denmark was even unhappier, ranking 30th in contentment. Swedes were even gloomier, only slightly more content but with a low average of 102 times a year. What Norwegians are enthusiastic about is casual sex, with only Icelanders and Vietnamese more likely to collect one-night stands. Other findings in the condom maker's study: 11 percent of Norwegians have paid for sex, 42 percent have had telephone or Internet sex, 10 percent have faked orgasms and 12 percent have had homosexual sex. Norwegians lust after movie stars George Clooney, Vin Diesel and Halle Berry, and think that doctors and nurses represent the sexiest professions.
Congratulations!. Spain and, especially around Barcelona may be the last of the ranking. :

A Kind Of Queen, Oliver's Official Report warning: this post is very long and you could get bored
No way, not boring at all! Excellent review, I am impressed with how detailed your memory is. When I leave a good concert I am overwhelmed with happiness and on a major high...but I don't recall the details worth a damn...just that it was FANTASTIC. Love these...
the run starts . (this was really a woot icon moment! )
this is when my sister gets bored cause "they're not playing Queen songs for a long time"
21. Guitar Solo Brian May, especially to annoy my sister that can not stand "Brian May's intelectual narcisism on guitar" in his long strange solos
now we come back to more usual Queen stuff till the end after the middle part weirdness (all the composers are weird :lol.
.. dancing to the song shaking the ass side to the side in a 50s way.
But I discovered yet a new way to see them. Besides looking at them straight or looking at the giant screen... looking at the screen of the mobile phones around.
You have a way with words

Another place to waste a little time....Tic Tac Toe

Oliver, nice review! I love how you described the running! When I was in Liverpool for Paul's concert in June, security had told us a few times that we could absolutely NOT run in the stadium, or we would be stopped and thrown out, but I was near the front, so everyone started out speed walking, and by the time we saw that front barrier in front of us, everyone was jogging anyway. Good times. I ended up on 2nd row...not bad!

21st Century Paul:
A Kind Of Queen, Oliver's Official Report warning: this post is very long and you could get bored hello, here I am home just after the show. After the usual cues to get the best places on the floor (in Europe there's no seated people in the playing field of the stadium like happens in Japan and the USA, we're all standing). I am like the #200 of the cue so I figure I can get to 2nd or 3rd "row", but there's no rows really. I was waiting on the cue for my sister and some friend to come after their working day. I was talking with her with the cell, and a TV channel came and interview the guy next to me while I was taking, so I guess I'm been on TV for a little while, a little TV anyway. I enter cause they're not in time to arrive and they are opening the doors. Some guy breaks my ticket, as usual (another one to keep ) and... the run starts . (this was really a woot icon moment! ) That's possibly my fav part of every concert. Ticket broken you can enter, and then it's up to you to run downstairs to the playing field and then to run all the stadium floor to arrive next to the stage. What a feeling running downstairs... I got a place just in the middle with only 2 people between me and the stage limits. One metre away. People around from anywhere, distant part of Spain, English people, German, from South America, people who have been to several concerts of this tour. Then we had to wait 2 hours for the show to begin. The music on the stadium were all rock and roll 50's classics. Usually is very boring music and not related to the artist at all but this time was great. Elvis, Fats Domino, the Everlys, Little Richard, Eddie Cochran and even The Beatles with Rock and Roll Music and Long Tall Sally. The show begins with a weird intro on the video screen. And the setlist is just the same than predicted. Special moments inserted. copied and pasted from a site that includes the intro as track 1 and 2 03. Hammer To Fall (fast version) 04. Tie Your Mother Down 05. Fat Bottomed Girls 06. Another One Bites The Dust 07. I Want It All 08. I Want To Break Free 09. C-lebrity here is when some people realized Queen+Paul Rodgers have released a CD, and other wonders what the heck is this song. I mean I was in front rows, top fans and anyway some of them didn't know a thing about the new songs. 10. Surf's Up... School's Out same that above 11. Seagull After the normal beginning this is Paul Rodgers alone in the stage and with the acoustic and singing a song of his solo career. Yes, time for people to write and send SMS, some people was even talking by the phone 12. Love Of My Life (Brian on vocals) Ok, Brian comes to the front on the stage, and of course the crowd screams like crazy. I though this time Brian May was not gonna cry like in the last tour same situation. I didn't make anything this time, the other time I screamed "Brian! Brian! Brian!" a lot more than usual, like others did, he was moved to tears. This time he seemed not very moved till starting to play the song. All I did in the song and move my hand up and down drawing the curves of the melody like Freddie did, and, like everyone else, sing the song. Brian May was moved to tears during the song. He just could not sing some parts, and even get lost with the guitar part ( ). That lasted all the song. I don't know if it was a good time for him really. We have made him cry again. 13. '39 everyone singing the song, Brian stopped before the chorus, and the crowd did everything anyway. Then Brian called the rest and they started again with the crowd weirdly doing even the soprano-like chorus in the song, with the band now laughing. 14. Bass solo (Danny + Roger)/15. Drum Solo Well... The weirdest drum solo I've even seer. if 39 was a laugh this was more of that. Roger starting, well playing the big drum in different parts, yes, just the big drum, and in the weirdest parts, then the little cymbal in different parts, 2 minutes with the big drum and 3 with just the little cymbal Then he approached the contrabass bass-like and played drums against the strings for a lot, with snippets of under pressure then he came to kick the big drum and little cymbal and assistant started building a whole drum kit around him in the front of the stage and he spent a couple of minute with every thing of the drum kit to end with a whole drum solo and with the next song. this is the video of a similar thing in another concert, notice the bass player laughing
16. I'm In Love With My Car (Roger on vocals) 17. A Kind Of Magic (Roger on vocals) 18. Say It's Not True (Roger, Brian and Paul on vocals) another new song, one of the best of the new CD, a new classic 19. Bad Company Paul Rodgers, well.. Bad Company song, of course, with Paul Rodgers on piano and pics of his youth on screen 20. We Believe another great song of the new CD this is when my sister gets bored cause "they're not playing Queen songs for a long time" 21. Guitar Solo Brian May, especially to annoy my sister that can not stand "Brian May's intelectual narcisism on guitar" in his long strange solos BTW I arrived at 6 PM and Brian was already playing guitar solo into the stadium, it could be heard from the outside, it lasted 40 minutes and people that arrived earlier said he started at 4 or so... he was not rehearsing but playing random stuff, improvising... 22. Bijou (Freddie's studio vocals) This is when the somehow unknown Queen track divided into a long Brian May solo and some Freddie's vocals surprise people with Freddie vocals and pics after Brian solo. 23. Last Horizon and if you don't want solos here you have the fantastic Last Horizon, not a Queen track, featured in the first Brian solo album, and his fav solo song. It's terrific live, makes people mad about it. 24. Radio Ga Ga now we come back to more usual Queen stuff till the end after the middle part weirdness (all the composers are weird :lol. 25. Crazy Little Thing Called Love there was a moment when I was singing (like thousands) the final vocals of the song, the live ones, different from the studio ones and Paul Rodgers pointed and looked at me like did with some others there. We looked around and even many people in the seats was dancing to the song shaking the ass side to the side in a 50s way. 26. The Show Must Go On 27. Bohemian Rhapsody Of Course Freddie Mercury on vocals and video. Live 1981 stuff, except for that final riff part who Rodgers sings... and everyone. people screams Freddie! Freddie! at the end, like after Love of My Life, but in love of my life it became Brian! Brian! Brian! the concert seems to end 28. Cosmos Rockin' And old time rock and roll track of the new CD 29. All Right Now the Paul Rodgers song everybody knows, and everybody sings. Well, having people taller than you it's a problem even in front rows... That gets worse when half of them are recording the show with mobile phones. Hundreds, thousands! they make it harder to see the band. But I discovered yet a new way to see them. Besides looking at them straight or looking at the giant screen... looking at the screen of the mobile phones around. 30. We Will Rock You 31. We Are The Champions with everybody doing the usual stuff in both songs, especially in we are the champions with all the people holding the hands up, you know... 32. God Save The Queen and everybody goes home, so I amIt's not boring at all My dade is the uhm... hugest (?) most Huge (?) Anyway... He's a big Queen fan! And he gave it to me! I'm also a Queen-fan! I got a DVD from 'Live in the bowl' I think from '82, And 1 DVD of Queen+Paul Rodgers, But I like Freddie better But... Brian stays the best!

Well, this time no-one told us NOT to run. But I remember my last Paul concert and it was like yours. There was so many people that security told people not to run, people started walking but increased speed as security was further away. And the end was an absolutely running madness just like the Beatles fans in A Hard day's night movie. 4th row for me, it would have been 1st row but in the moment they opened the doors my sister was busy going to, well you know, but when she saw the doors were opened she run to my place... and then she had to hold it for 7 hours .

What more can we say about Freddie and Brian? An unmatched performing couple, and not so far from Lennon/McCartney in songwriting. There are already some videos on youtube of yesterday's night. It's not strange with hundreds of mobile phones around the stage. Though I still can't understand how some people have uploaded videos so fast. Brian May and Barcelona, Love of my life, moved to tears
the end of the show, We Will Rock You, We are the champions and God Save the Queen concert start almost all Bohemian Rhapsody -
