I wish that related to me somehow.... Those are some GORGEOUS homes! My youngest LOVES NYC....I mean, LOVES it. This weekend, she was reading some real estate ads for apartments in NY. They were mostly penthouse apartments.....some of them covering 2 full floors, some with 24oo square foot terraces, most have 4-5 bedroom and 4-5 full baths, fireplaces that open to two rooms, etc. And get this........they were listed as "only" $4-21 MILLION.
I've never even been to New York and I love it as well....If I ever had a dream, that would be it. Live in NYC for a certain amount of time. Oh, to win the lottery....
I would like to spend some time in Italy ...love it
I would like to spend some time in both places!! But probably more time in Italy...and Norway, and Belgium and The Netherlands and Spain. Amen to the lottery wish
I would like to spend some time in Oregon... and Florida.
Door's always open.
Well, look who's here. Too bad you weren't here an hour ago to break this posting streak I'm on. ops: How's it goin' today, Svenn?

they collect money for that too, I guess, and still is not enough... how do you say... "You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear". :
Yes, that's exactly it.

BTW, I've seen Denise hasn't posted my comment on her page, my invitation to the Supernova. Maybe she doesn't want people to know. : I don't know! According to what some of you say, Denise could share here experience about different problems caused for having big boobs. And well, still the Denise comment page may be interesting for women here, cause it's full of shirtless guys.
Be patient. My comment did not appear until three days after I posted it. But it would be nice to have her here, I wonder how she copes with those huge breasts? Well, if she has problems she can just remove the implants. I just found out, her boobs are fake. That's a shame, but we still like her, don't we? Now I know why we never get to see her topless, it would then be easier to see that she's had a boob job. http://www.celebrityplasticsurgery.us/denise-milani-fake-boobs-breast-implants.html

Norway world leader in casual sex
I'm on my way.... :
Satisfaction was worse for Norwegians, with only 62 percent saying they were content with their sex life, placing them as low as 29th on the list.
....maybe not
it seems they even want more, great, ambitious people
I wonder if there's any fairly current research that shows differences in frequency of sex in different global climates. For example, in the planets coldest regions, I can imagine that frequency stats might be higher than those of warmer climates, due to a basic "drive to survive" all of those cold, cold winters and preserve the population. Does anybody know of any such studies?

Have we had a Quote of the Day lately? This looks like a great one to me.
Whatever you say, but I have to admit I don't get it. I have a no idea what it means..

Oliver, nice review! I love how you described the running! When I was in Liverpool for Paul's concert in June, security had told us a few times that we could absolutely NOT run in the stadium, or we would be stopped and thrown out, but I was near the front, so everyone started out speed walking, and by the time we saw that front barrier in front of us, everyone was jogging anyway. Good times. I ended up on 2nd row...not bad!
In general, most of our concert venues here are pretty "orderly", that is, the running thing....I don't think I've ever even seen it. Tina? : I can see how it would add to the excitement, but personally, I'd be concerned about stampeding and people getting seriously injured.

4th row for me, it would have been 1st row but in the moment they opened the doors my sister was busy going to, well you know, but when she saw the doors were opened she run to my place... and then she had to hold it for 7 hours .
Well, yes, there's that concern, too.

Hey, I'm doing fine! But something very sad happened this week, Molly died. I am not quite sure what caused it, it happened so quickly. The day before she was doing fine. Yesterday we got a new guinea pig, she is so cute! Frida was so happy when she saw her.

Hey Angela. http://www.aftenposten.no/english/local/article633160.ece
Norway world leader in casual sex Seven out of ten Norwegians have had a random sex partner and the country is a world leader in one-night stands. At the same time they are among the least sexually satisfied citizens in the world, according to the latest findings in the Durex Global Sex Survey for 2003. Interviews of 150,000 people from 34 nations form the basis of the study released this week. The statistics provide a fascinating look into the different private habits around the world, and insight into what makes Norwegians warm all over. In terms of sheer numbers, Norway was about average with 124 sex sessions a year, well behind winners Hungary with an active 152. Satisfaction was worse for Norwegians, with only 62 percent saying they were content with their sex life, placing them as low as 29th on the list. Neighbor Denmark was even unhappier, ranking 30th in contentment. Swedes were even gloomier, only slightly more content but with a low average of 102 times a year. What Norwegians are enthusiastic about is casual sex, with only Icelanders and Vietnamese more likely to collect one-night stands. Other findings in the condom maker's study: 11 percent of Norwegians have paid for sex, 42 percent have had telephone or Internet sex, 10 percent have faked orgasms and 12 percent have had homosexual sex. Norwegians lust after movie stars George Clooney, Vin Diesel and Halle Berry, and think that doctors and nurses represent the sexiest professions.
Does this mean that, for instance, you and Kate are having sex with other man/woman? Would you be glad to know that Kate is having sex with other men? I think you don't mind to behave like the Durex Global Sex Survey is telling.
I wonder how many people are truthful on a survey like that. I'm guessing some people like to pretend they are "players" when they really aren't. :
Also true...one of the greatest flaws in survey research.

Two days in a row of MEGA yard work. It's ibuprofen and wine time!! Though I did make a Costco run on Wednesday...and bought a bunch of stuff I need....and some I don't. : But I was proud of myself for only looking at the cds and not buying, same with books....saw some interesting ones...but geezo peezo I have a wall full of books I haven't read so NO buying I came close though...Yo-Yo Ma has a holiday cd, he and James Taylor do "Here Comes The Sun" and he does Lennon's Happy Christmas (War is Over) with Jake Shimabukuro (an amazing ukulele player). It's called "Yo-Yo Ma and Friends, Songs of Joy and Peace"....if it's still there next time I go to Costco I will take it as a sign that I am supposed to have the cd. The more I think about it the more I think I should have bought it :
That guy is now doing stuff with Yo-Yo Ma? I remember the first time I ever heard of him, or saw anything he did, was this YouTube vid a few years ago:
Wasn't he a relative 'unknown' back then? And now, look at him. http://www.jakeshimabukuro.com/ .....touring all over the place and working with top names like Yo-Yo. Wow. Great for him! Tina, if you buy that CD, I'd be interested to know how you like it. Its sounds fabulous to me. -

lit'l willow:
No, not boring at all. I know I said something about this a couple of years ago, but I seriously hope that you've included "Breakaway" in the list of CD's that you ordered. If not, you need to. IMO, it's Art's very, very best solo work.
I haven't ordered any solo cd's yet, I first want to get familiar with their work together. But I'll certainly get around to their solo stuff eventually.

Okay, Tina....you didn't have to wait until April for this! I originally wanted to post it last night, but then I realized I had sung a wrong lyric and I couldn't re-do it yesterday 'cause Sean was already sleeping. So I quickly re-sang the vocals this morning at 8am, ( before I was off to the university and put it together just now when I got back. It's kind of high for a female voice. I'm already playing it without capo unlike Paul Simon did, but to get it even lower, I would have to tune down my guitar, but I was too lazy to do that, since I hate tuning it back up again afterwards. Anyway...hope you like it. My S's are kind of sharp, so watch your ears. April Come She Will

( i will have seen him somewhere between 60 & 70 times.......i stopped counting after about 11 )
Oh wow. Does Paul Weller know that? He should!
Hi......no i have never met him ( well he was stood near me at a Oasis concert but i didnt pester him ) I should get discount !
Yeah, you should at least have one of those "buy one, get one free" things or something. Or a "buy 9 concert tickets and the 10th one's free" card that they can punch little holes in. Maybe even extra frequent flyer miles, too. So, are you that big a fan of his, or have you just happened to be in the right places at the right times? I confess I don't know his work ops: (blasphemy here in the Supernova probably ops, but I'll check it out today. EDITED: Hey Moggy, your avatar cracks me up. Is that photoshopped, or is it a frame from the new movie "W" perhaps? :
I got the bush photo off photobucket, i could not resist it. Weller tours quite regularly....not always big tours , but once twice a year. He nearly always plays a couple in Manchester or Blackpool, and i have travelled to other places to see him ( Paris, Halifax, London, deeside, a place near scarborough, wolverhampton, stafford, glastonbury,....i think thats it !)
That so great....very cool that you can do that. I'd love to go to a Glastonbury event one day.
Like Macca , weller as had three stages to his career THE JAM
LOVE that song....it's quite beautiful. : ....and this one.... :
THE STYLE COUNCIL
I vaguely remember The Style Council, but not any particular song(s) of theirs. But I love that jazz sound. My favorite period of his, based on these few vids:
AND SOLO
Beautiful, beautiful, both of them.....especially Wild Wood!
AND WITH THAT MCCARTNEY FELLER
So everybody needs a little help from their friends from time to time, eh? Very cool vid.
Hes massive in Britain ( approx 60-70 hit singles , which hes wrote putting him behind very few ...Macca , elton and bowie i think ) , Japan and other places. He has a good live following in the US , but i THINK hes only had one hit (everchanging moods) Many young bands hold him up as a major influence including Oasis, Arctic monkeys , the enemy , the courteeners and of course the rifles.
He's really great, I'm sold. Can't believe I've not been familiar with him before, but always glad to learn about artists that are 'new' to me. Thanks for the links.........and the education.

Eve! It's wonderful! Did it feel good to be playing again? Thanks very much for sharing it. Otherwise how are things in Belgium today?
