Na i learned from my dad you only start learning once you go to work and he is right. when i get this engineering job i will be learning and my depression will come to an end.
-
Sorry to say this Nick...but I think your dad is wrong. School has always been THE most important thing in my life and the only thing I really care about. When all else fails....I will always have my career

Yeah well how come i have bagged a good engineering career with only E's and F's it might of taken me a year to get it but still, now i know the courses im taking at the moment are not worth shit then that means i am ready to leave. School at the moment is wasting my time and causing me health problems. Insomnia, Depression etc
-
I guess school isn't for everyone....but still very important. Are you in highschool or college? I am glad you got a good job without the schooling backing you up, but in some fields....that is not possible.

We all want the stress to go away Nick....but stress is part of life. But running away from it, won't solve your problem.
-

well if you ask mark.. thats what he did.. he just left school too. Me on the other hand. Heck arent you close enough to finishing Nick... you cant stick out till the end. Believe me I wanted to quit, many times in high school.. but it was the priciple.. I didnt want to be known as a High School Drop out! And if I didnt finish.. I wouldnt have been able to go on to collage and get my BA and do what I love to do... Graphic Design is my life! And Jenny is right.. we all Have Drama and stress in our life.. Believe me I have had enough shit in my life to kill me this year.. its all on how you take it! Its NOT a stress thing.. its a mental thing. Ask ANYONE!!

But school is also causing me to be unhealthy. Because of my sleeping problem i have been known to sleep only 3 hours and wake up the next day exhausted. And when i get home from school i sleep so it's hard to sleep on the night. I dunno how to change this, it is no good for my health at all.

I have really bad insomnia too.. but I have just learned to live with it. try sleeping pills.. or rearanging where your bed is. My biggest problem is shutting my brain off for long enough to get to sleep. I dont have insurance so I can go to a doctor.. but you are still under 18 and I am sure you are still under your parents medical insurance.. you can easily get that problem fixed with medication. Dont make excuses.. find answeres... not the easy way out!

i did the nyquil thing but that makes me too sleepy the next day. there is a LOT of herbal meds you can take as well. Just go into a local health food store and ASK for things that will help you sleep.
-
I dont really trust those kind of things especially seeing as i drink also

I am OK in the morning, but you are right...I should be more health conscience with it all. Thanks for the advice, and I will do just that

so you think that Herbal sleeping meds are bad.. BECAUSE you drink. Have you thought that a lot of this has to do with the drinking. You can have a perfectly normal life... with out booze. I drink cause I like to.. not to numb my pain or depression. Again.. your making excuses. I am not trying to be harsh here NIck.. but you cant get better unless start to find out what is the real problem. Coping out and saying.. ugh.. school is just too much... that is a pussy way out.
-
Maybe so but, i dunno
